  • Publication number: 20070089358
Abstract: A garden edging including a corrugated strip of sheet metal and a guard capping the corrugated strip. The guard includes a metal clip having a crosspiece from the opposite ends of which a pair of legs extends downwardly in the form of an inverted ā€œUā€. A plastic coating covers the clip. The coating is formed so as to have a pair of ribs that project inwardly toward one another from the bottoms of the legs for gripping the corrugated strip.

  • Publication number: 20060280911
Abstract: A universal roofing closure including a strip of visco-elastic foam. A strip of closed cell foam is adhesively fastened to the top of said strip of visco-elastic foam and extends the length thereof. Optionally, a ventilation member is adhesively fastened to the top of the strip of closed cell foam. The ventilation member has a multiplicity of open channels running its width so that air can flow from one side of the universal closure to the other.

  • Publication number: 20060075691
Abstract: A snow guard including a resilient body with a slot for receiving a portion of a standing seam of a metal roof. The resilient body has a pair of apertures on opposite sides of the slot into which can be inserted the jaws of a tool for manipulating the resilient body to selectively widen the slot to facilitate the installation of the snow guard upon the standing seam of a metal roof. The resilient body also has a number of teeth projecting into the slot adjacent each of the apertures for gripping the standing seam of a metal roof positioned within the slot. A pair of wings extends outwardly from the resilient body for impeding the downward movement of snow and ice on a roof.

  • Publication number: 20050086890
Abstract: A spacer for applying a corrugated metal panel atop a roof covered by a number of rows of shingles. The spacer includes a strip of resilient foam having a width sufficient to rest flush against the exposed portion of one of the rows of shingles without overlapping adjacent rows and having a height sufficient to project above the tops of the shingles in adjacent rows. In use, a pair of spacers are positioned along two rows of shingles. Then, a corrugated metal panel is positioned atop the pair of spacers and is attached to the roof by means of a penetrating fastener.

  • Publication number: 20050028470
Abstract: A spacer for retrofitting corrugated metal roofs. The spacer includes a foam block having a notched bottom for receiving the corrugations of a metal roof. The opposite ends of the foam block are respectively provided with tongue and groove fittings. An adhesive layer is applied to the bottom surface of the foam block for securing the foam block to the metal roof. A high-density foam strip is affixed to the top of the foam block for supporting a corrugated, metal panel above.
