  • Publication number: 20150195649
Abstract: A method for devices to remote control and stream audio signals to nearby audio devices in a wireless network based audio system. The wireless audio devices are on a segregated wireless network set up by a network bridge connected to a home wireless router. The method includes an application enabled remote control device establishing a proximity based wireless connection with nearby wireless audio devices by scanning the surrounding area for wireless signals from wireless audio devices; identifying the wireless audio devices that are in close proximity based on their wireless signal strength being above a proximity threshold; and sending remote control and audio signals to the selected wireless audio devices.

  • Publication number: 20150195650
Abstract: A method for a wireless audio receiver connected to an audio system to select an audio source from multiple transmitter devices is provided. The method includes the said wireless audio receiver establishing a bidirectional communication connections with available transmitter devices; establishing a unidirectional audio streaming connection with a primary transmitter device to play on the said audio system, receiving an audio streaming connection request from an idle transmitter device; forwarding the said request to the said active transmitter device; forwarding a response received from said active transmitter to deny or accept audio transmission to the said requesting idle transmitter, disconnecting the existing audio streaming connection and establishing a new audio streaming connection with the said requesting transmitter in case of acceptance or lack of timely response from said previous active transmitter.

  • Patent number: 9043948
Abstract: The present invention includes an auxiliary closing wheel for use with an agricultural seeding implement of a type of having a factory closing wheel rotatably coupled to a mounting arm with a rod. The auxiliary closing wheel includes a plate member rotatably coupled to the rod to which the factory closing wheel is coupled. The auxiliary closing wheel has a generally planar and annular configuration. The plate member includes a peripheral edge having a plurality of spiked teeth extending away therefrom. The plate member includes an inner surface defining a flange configured to mate with a recessed area of the factory closing wheel such that both wheels thereafter move unitarily. The plate member includes a diameter greater than a diameter of the factory closing wheel such that the spiked teeth will contact a ground surface in use instead of the factory closing wheel.

  • Publication number: 20150042447
Abstract: A remote control and streaming interface for an entertainment environment. The system includes an infrared (IR) transmitter panel holding a plurality of IR LEDs formed in an LED array. The system also includes at least one transceiver configured to maintain a bidirectional administration link with a smart handheld device and configured to maintain a separate streaming link with the smart handheld device. The system includes a processor configured to identify remote control (RC) commands received over the administration link, the processor configured to direct the LED array to generate an IR signal having a select IR pulse sequence based on the RC commands. The system also includes the LED array configured to transmit the IR signal in a reflective-deflective pattern across the entertainment environment until reaching at least one remotely controlled (RC) device within the entertainment environment wherein the RC device is positioned in a non-line of sight relation with the LED array.

  • Publication number: 20080051288
Abstract: Compositions and methods related to transgenic glyphosate/ALS inhibitor-tolerant soybean plants are provided. Specifically, soybean plants having a 3560.4.3.5 event which imparts tolerance to glyphosate and at least one ALS-inhibiting herbicide are provided. The soybean plant harboring the 3560.4.3.5 event at the recited chromosomal location comprises genomic/transgene junctions having at least the polynucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:10 and/or 11. The characterization of the genomic insertion site of the 3560.4.3.5 event provides for an enhanced breeding efficiency and enables the use of molecular markers to track the transgene insert in the breeding populations and progeny thereof. Various methods and compositions for the identification, detection, and use of the soybean 3560.4.3.5 events are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070079393
Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided related to improved plants that are tolerant to more than one herbicide. Particularly, the invention provides plants that are tolerant of glyphosate and are tolerant to at least one ALS inhibitor, and methods of use thereof. The glyphosate/ALS inhibitor-tolerant plants comprise a polynucleotide that encodes a polypeptide that confers tolerance to glyphosate and a polynucleotide that encodes an ALS inhibitor-tolerant polypeptide. In specific embodiments, a plant of the invention expresses a GAT polypeptide and an HRA polypeptide. Methods to control weeds, improve plant yield, and increase transformation efficiencies are provided.
