Abstract: A vehicle and a suspension assembly for a vehicle are disclosed. A shock absorber includes a distal end and a proximal end spaced from each other along a central axis. A first spring and a second spring each encircle the shock absorber. The first and second springs align with each other along the central axis between the distal and proximal ends. An actuator includes a movable portion which is movable relative to the shock absorber between a first position wherein the first spring and the second spring are both compressible to define a first total spring rate, and a second position wherein the first spring is incompressible and the second spring is compressible to define a second total spring rate different from the first total spring rate.
