Abstract: Aspects concern a computer-implemented method for asset tokenization and storage, comprising: receiving a request for an asset to be tokenized on a distributed ledger; providing asset data of the asset; generating a token representing the asset, wherein the token complies with a predefined token standard, the token comprises a token metadata; generating, using a hash function, a first hash based on the asset data; generating, using the hash function, a second hash based on the token metadata; comparing the second hash with the first hash; and providing a notification indicative of data integrity in a positive determination that there is a match between the second hash and the first hash.
