Abstract: A beach erosion reversal system adapted to assist in reforming cresting destructive waves into substantially constructively beach-replenishing waves. The preferred system comprises a plurality of solid members deployable by offshore submersion along a beach, preferably along the line of wave crest formation. The composition of the solid members are such that wave action wears the structures away in a predetermined relatively short period of time. Another embodiment includes a plurality of buoys held in place along the wave crest line by submerged connected weights. The wave alteration into substantially constructive wave formations is similar. Variations of size, shape, lateral spacing and composition are also provided.
