  • Patent number: 9440370
Abstract: A water abrasive slurry supply system permits abrasive recovery and reuse and allows for constant controlled supply of abrasive slurry to multiple cutting heads in series or in parallel from a remote common slurry mix/supply tank. By keeping the slurry mix always in constant motion the abrasive is not allowed to settle out of suspension. The velocity required to maintain suspension in the recirculating loop is 6 to 7 feet per second.

  • Publication number: 20150158196
Abstract: A method of forming non-linear slots in pipe and the resulting slotted pipes are disclosed. The non-linear slots can be created using fluid jet, plasma, laser or any cutting method capable of producing a non-linear slot through the wall of a pipe. One embodiment includes interruptions in the slots to form ribs or structural connections between the pipe material along either side of a slot. The non-linear slots can be arranged in longitudinal, latitudinal, or in a helical orientation around the axis of the liner in straight, staggered, or ganged patterns. The slots can be formed in any non-linear shape, pattern, or slot thickness. One method employs high pressure fluid jet cutting from within the pipe, resulting in slots having a smaller width at the outside surface of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 3997105
Abstract: A swinging bucket centrifuge rotor has a plurality of peripheral cavities each adapted to seat a swinging bucket suspended from a fixed hanger. The hanger defines a hook which is adapted to support a cross-pin located in each bucket cap. Each bucket cap in turn is formed such that the shaft supporting the cross-pin is spring-loaded to permit its movement along the axis of the bucket. In this manner, a single rotor may accommodate different weight sets of buckets simply by varying the spring constant of the spring in the bucket cap.

  • Patent number: 3935995
Abstract: A swinging bucket centrifuge rotor has a plurality of peripheral cavities each adapted to seat a swinging bucket. Each cavity has a hanger which is slideably positioned in a receptacle in the rear of the cavity. The receptacle prevents rotation of the hanger about its path of movement. The extremity of the hanger forms a hook which is adapted to support a cross-pin located in the swinging bucket cap. The cross-pin is so positioned that the bucket must hang properly from the hook. In like manner the hook has an outwardly and downwardly sloping entrance opening which further aids in properly hanging a bucket.
