  • Publication number: 20150056977
Abstract: A telephone call log including a system to produce the log and methods is described. A programmable telephone is programmed to monitor telephone activity on a telephone and create a calendar entry in a calendar application also operating on the telephone. The calendar entry can be synchronized across devices such that notes can be created on a separate device and associated with the calendar entry. In one embodiment handwritten notes may be linked as a file to the calendar entry. In another embodiment the phone log application further monitors the location of the phone and the calendar entry of the phone log further includes the location, speed and heading of the phone at the time the call was made or received.

  • Publication number: 20070111314
Abstract: A method for tagging an ink with an isotopic tagging composition is provided. The method includes tagging the ink with a tagging composition having an artificial abundance of at least one isotope of an element to produce an authentic ink having an artificial abundance of the at least one isotope of the element which exceeds a natural abundance thereof in the authentic ink. A method for authenticating unidentified ink samples by comparing isotope abundances and/or abundance ratios in the unidentified ink samples with isotope abundances and/or abundance ratios in authentic inks tagged with isotopic tagging compositions is also provided. The method also includes tagging a pigment-based ink with trityl-protected thiol additives and methods for identifying inks containing the same.

  • Patent number: 6106115
Abstract: A transparent medium for printers and plotters having optical edge and media sensors has one or more reflective strips applied to the non-image side to trip the sensors. The reflective strips can include a narrow strip along one lateral edge to locate the edge, and a wider strip along the other lateral edge to locate the edge and trip the media sensor. The strips are applied by a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and are removed after the printing operations on the medium. The reflective strips can be formed of the same transparent base as the medium, with fillers added to provide sufficient opacity to trip the optical sensors.
