    Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to hermetically sealed electrochemical cells. In some aspects, an electrochemical cell assembly can include an anode disposed on an anode current collector, a cathode disposed on a cathode current collector, and a separator disposed between the anode and the cathode. A hermetic enclosure contains the anode, the anode current collector, the cathode, the cathode current collector, and the separator. An electronic circuit is electrically and/or communicatively coupled to at least one of the anode or the cathode, such that a first portion of the electronic circuit is inside the hermetic enclosure and a second portion of the electronic circuit is outside of the hermetic enclosure. The electronic circuit can includes a printed flex circuit polyimide, and/or an aluminized polymer pouch.

    Abstract: Processes for producing and purifying recombinant proteins are disclosed. In particular, the present disclosure provides processes of producing and purifying multi-subunit proteins expressed in yeast or filamentous fungal cells. The production and/or purification of such proteins are monitored for impurities, preferably using lectin binding assays, such that one or more process parameters may be adjusted to maximize the amount of desired recombinant protein and minimize the amount of glycosylated impurities. The processes can also be monitored for other undesired product-associated impurities, such as aggregates and nucleic acids. In exemplary embodiments, the recombinant proteins are multi-subunit proteins, such as antibodies, the host cell is a yeast, such as Pichia pastoris, and the glycosylated impurity is a glycovariant of the desired recombinant polypeptide, such as an N-linked and/or O-linked glycovariant.

The first bifurcating branch device has a wide patient applicability since the treatment can be extended proximal to the anatomical iliac bifurcation and is not limited by the common iliac artery length. The stent-graft system is suitable to treat a wide range of internal and external iliac artery diameters.

    Abstract: Autonomous vehicles with global positioning systems are used for field inspection. A vehicle may be programmed to traverse a field, while using sensors to detect objects in the field, and then capture low-resolution images of the objects. Machine vision techniques are used with the low-resolution images to recognize the objects as crops, non-crop plant material or undefined objects. Location data is used to correlate recognized objects with digitally stored field maps to resolve whether a particular object is in a location at which crop planting is expected or not expected. Depending on whether an object in a low-resolution digital image is recognized as a crop, and whether the object is in an expected geo-location for crops, the vehicle may switch to a second image capture mode, for example, capturing a high-resolution image of the object, and/or execute a disease analysis and/or weed analysis on the images of the objects.
