Abstract: An apparatus for collection of urine from a male wearer comprises a housing having an outlet and having an opening for insertion of the distal end of a wearer's penis therein. An elastic membrane within the housing is inflatable to establish a substantially annular seal around the wearer's penis, such that urine from the wearer is directed out the outlet of the collection apparatus. In one embodiment, the apparatus is comprised of off-the shelf PVC components with the elastic membrane being formed from a portion of a conventional condom or the like.
