  • Patent number: 11117782
Abstract: A braking device may be utilized by an elevator system that has a cabin that is movable within an elevator shaft. The braking device may comprise an actuator and a brake. The actuator may be configured to provide an actuating force for the brake as needed. The braking device may include a force measuring assembly for generating a load state value of the cabin. The force measuring assembly may be mechanically coupled to the actuator such that the actuating force is dependent on the load state value. The actuator may be configured such that the greater the load state value the greater the actuating force.

  • Publication number: 20210155448
Abstract: A lift system includes at least one travel rail mounted in a shaft, and a lift car having a chassis that is disposed on and movable along the travel rail in a travel direction. Also mounted in the shaft is a slotted hollow conductor having a slot defined therein extending in the travel direction. A holding arrangement that holds a cabin antenna extending therefrom is further coupled to, and movable with, the lift car in the travel direction, such that the cabin antenna protrudes into an interior of the slotted hollow conductor through the slot, and is movable along the length of the slot as the car moves in the travel direction. An antenna guide extends parallel to the travel direction of the lift car and is configured to guide the cabin antenna in the slot of the slotted hollow conductor.

  • Patent number: 10723591
Abstract: A guide rail for an elevator system may comprise at least two rail elements that together form a guide rail portion having a functional running track that extends in a travel direction. Each of the rail elements may be connected to a shaft wall of the elevator system. Furthermore, the at least two rail elements may be adjacent and spaced such that the at least two rail elements can thermally expand freely in the travel direction. Additionally, the at least two rail elements in a region of the functional running track may have mutually opposite borders that have complementary profiles. An arbitrary cross section of the guide rail portion perpendicular to the travel direction in the region of the functional track may run through at least one of the two adjacent rail elements.

  • Publication number: 20190352133
Abstract: An elevator car may comprise a sliding carriage for moving an elevator car along guide rails of an elevator installation designed as part of a linear motor, a receiving means disposed on the sliding carriage, and a load space with a load space floor that is supported by the receiving means. The load space may be vibration-related decoupled by way of one or more damping elements from the sliding carriage. The elevator car may also comprise a controllable actuating element disposed on the elevator car such that when activated the controllable actuating element enables a relative movement of the load space floor to the sliding carriage.

  • Publication number: 20190308845
Abstract: An elevator system having a car which can be moved along an elevator shaft in a direction of travel. The elevator shaft includes a busbar that extends in the direction of the direction of travel. The car comprises a current collector that can be moved between a first position and a second position along a compression direction. In the first position, the current collector is in engagement with the busbar such that there is an electrical connection between the busbar and the current collector. In the second position, the current collector is disengaged from the busbar, such that the electrical connection between the busbar and the current collector is separated.
