  • Publication number: 20180290329
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a chain saw of a wood handling device and to controlling the guide bar in it. The guide bar is attached to a turning frame rotatably arranged to a frame of the chain saw through a fastening arrangement. The fastening arrangement of the guide bar and the turning frame are joined by at least one guide for controlling the guide bar during movement along its longitudinal axis. The guide includes opposite slide guides with opposite sliding and mating surfaces that form a form-locking joint joining the fastening arrangement and turning frame together. This type of separate slide guide arranged in the chain saw is movable in at least one direction differing from the direction of travel allowed by the guide, which makes it possible to modify clearance between the sliding surface and mating surface.

  • Patent number: 7334611
Abstract: An arrangement in connection with a crosscutting saw of a harvester. Herein, a lattice-like structure composed of strips is provided in a saw casing of the crosscutting saw, the structure being substantially on the same section plane as the rotational movement of a chain of the crosscutting saw. The strips are arranged in the saw casing in such a manner that substantially each movement path tangent generated at a lower edge in a guide bar of the chain or at an outer track on the side of the saw casing in the chain wheel is arranged to encounter a surface in the strip. This provides a structure that enhances a controlled removal of sawdust or other pieces flowing to the saw casing during sawing.

  • Publication number: 20070068600
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement in connection with a crosscutting saw of a harvester (1). Herein, a lattice-like structure composed of strips (17) is provided in a saw casing (10) of the crosscutting saw, the structure being substantially on the same section plane as the rotational movement of a chain (12) of the crosscutting saw. The strips are arranged in the saw casing in such a manner that substantially each movement path tangent generated at a lower edge (16) in a guide bar (13) of the chain or at an outer track (20) on the side of the saw casing in the chain wheel is arranged to encounter a surface (19) in the strip. This provides a structure that enhances a controlled removal of sawdust or other pieces flowing to the saw casing (10) during sawing.

  • Patent number: 5173028
Abstract: The invention relates to a semitrailer (1) comprising devices (6) for shifting a load, such as a container (9), to the support of the trailer (1) and away from the support thereof; as well as devices (3) for shifting the bogie (2) in the lengthwise direction of the trailer. According to the invention, the trailer (1) comprises devices (10; 12) for raising and lowering both the front end (1a) and rear end (1b) of the trailer. By employing the said devices, the front and rear ends of the trailer can be raised and lowered irrespective of each other in order to load and unload the trailer.
