  • Patent number: 8632981
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for a rapid test. In accordance with an embodiment, a particle reagent is placed into a separate sample or reagent receptacle or test tube, in which the particle reagent reacts with one or several analytes in the liquid sample, and the particle reagent is put into contact with the rapid test device, in which a visible signal is formed by the particle reagent.

  • Publication number: 20140011190
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for performing a quantitative or qualitative analysis by a two-phase rapid test. In the method a signal reagent is placed into a container made of non-absorbing material, the container being located separate from the rapid test device. The signal reagent is reacted with the analyte(s) present in a test sample by adding the liquid test sample into the container. A reaction solution is obtained, which is then contacted with the rapid test device, wherein a detectable signal is developed. Subsequently, the development of the signal is monitored and read continuously.
