    Abstract: The invention relates to an intake manifold arrangement for an internal combustion engine, in particular for a direct injection diesel oil combustion engine, with at least one region with an intake manifold having a flexible manifold wall, with the flexible manifold wall being formed by an inflatable element. In order to achieve a control of the swirl in the easiest possible manner without having a disadvantageous effect on the intake flow it is provided that the inflatable element is arranged in a recess of the intake manifold wall.
