  • Patent number: 7896596
Abstract: The invention relates to a U-shaped clamping piece for attachment to a panel provided with an opening, having two flat legs, connected by a yoke, with a nut part axially movably disposed between the two legs for receiving a bolt, said bolt penetrating the opening and one leg, wherein said nut part is non-rotatably held on the clamping piece by a lateral arm. The nut part is secured by its end in axially resilient manner to the leg facing away from the panel by means of a plurality of straps extending from the end of the nut part to the leg.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 1, 2011
Assignee: Ejot GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Uwe Rausch, Marko Göring, Eberhard Christ
  • Publication number: 20110038685
Abstract: A female part for an insertable fastener, more especially a screw. The female part is be aligned with a hole in a panel, with a radial extension adapted to contact the panel. The female part is provided with a drive receiving means and the extension is provided, on its carrying surface facing the panel, with a ring, surrounding the female part, of a hot-melt adhesive. The hot-melt adhesive is adapted to be melted on through rotational friction.

  • Publication number: 20070190859
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotationally symmetrical plastic nut part, insertable into a penetration in a metal plate, for a fastener, more particularly a screw, adapted to be received by a hole in the nut part, with a flange, said flange being adapted to be brought into contact with the metal plate. A coaxial metal ring is embedded in the flange, a front side of said metal ring being adapted to be brought into contact with the surface of the metal plate, wherein, upon rotation of the nut part together with the metal ring, the metal ring is adapted to be joined by friction-welding to the metal plate.
