  • Patent number: 11462349
Abstract: A resonance damping element for a power converter having a positive busbar and a negative busbar, wherein the resonance damping element comprises a magnetic core formed with two openings through which the positive busbar and the negative busbar of the power converter are to be routed, respectively.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 21, 2017
Date of Patent: October 4, 2022
    Assignee: VACON OY

  • Patent number: 7702760
Abstract: The present invention relates to a configuration method and system for providing a configuration parameter, such as a server, gateway or proxy server address(es), to a terminal device. A trigger control information defining trigger events and/or conditions is loaded to the terminal device (11, 21) and a discovery procedure for obtaining the configuration parameter(s) is initiated when at least one of the trigger events and/or conditions is detected. Thereby, a user-friendly automatic configuration of services or server addresses can be provided to a moving mobile terminal.

    Inventors: Juhani Latvakoski, Marko Koskela
  • Patent number: 7359347
Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication system and a method for the same. In the method simultaneous circuit switched and packet switched connections are established between a user equipment and a first element of the communication system. A predefined event is monitored for after initiation of a procedure for handing the circuit switched connection over from the first element to a second element of the communication system. The event is defined to indicate a need for release of resources reserved by the packet switched connection. Subsequent to detection of the event, resources reserved by said packet switched connection at the network side of the system are released.

  • Publication number: 20040110500
Abstract: A method and system for controlling connection establishment in a network architecture comprising at least two systems or domains through which said call establishment can be initialized, wherein a control information is provided in a terminal device, and a changing function is provided for changing the control information. The control information is used for selecting one of said at least two systems or domains, to be used for initializing said call establishment. Thus, a mobile originated call establishment can be initiated in a controlled manner through a desired network domain or system.

  • Patent number: 6744742
Abstract: The invention relates to a method (500) and an arrangement for defining transmission power in a mobile station. The invention can preferably be applied in a TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) cellular system which offers broadband services and in which the number of time slots to be used for data transfer can be changed during the connection (530). One fundamental idea of the invention is that the transmission power of a new time slot is defined in the mobile station on the basis of the transmission power of at least one other time slot used in the connection (560). If the connection has had one time slot for its use when a new time slot is being allocated, for the transmission power of the new time slot, the same value is preferably set as at the previous time slot.
