  • Publication number: 20240326053
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for isolating a biological target material from a liquid sample in a multiwell plate using magnetic particles, wherein high efficiency and low elution volumes are achieved by specific movements of the multiwell plate and a magnetic separation plate in relation to each other. Also disclosed is a pre-analytical system suitable for carrying out the method.

  • Publication number: 20240198347
Abstract: The present invention relates to an instrument for automatically removing sealing covers from sample vessels (and/or for automatically sealing or resealing sample vessels with sealing covers, the instrument comprising a vessel holder for holding a sample vessel, and a suction/induction device comprising a suction member for holding a sealing cover, and an induction member comprising at least one induction coil, with the suction/induction device and the vessel holder being arranged in an axially movable manner with regard to each other, and, in use, the at least one induction coil is arranged above a bottom of the suction member. In addition, the present invention relates to a laboratory automation system comprising such instrument as well as a plurality of pre-analytical, analytical and/or post-analytical stations, and also relates to a method of automatically removing sealing covers from sample vessels and a method of automatically sealing or resealing sample vessels with sealing covers.

  • Publication number: 20210056247
Abstract: Object pose may be detected by obtaining a computer model of a physical object, simulating the computer model in a realistic environment simulator, capturing training data including a plurality of pose representations, each pose representation including an image of the computer model in one of a plurality of poses paired with a label including a pose specification of the computer model as shown in the image, the image of the computer model and the pose specification defined by the simulator, and applying a learning process to the pose representations to produce a pose determining function for relating an image of the object to a pose specification.

  • Publication number: 20190055975
Abstract: The drywall anchor device successfully anchors a plurality of objects to a drywall, thereby avoiding damage to the drywall and preventing the loss of anchor-to-drywall that is well known in the practice. The device is provided in a plurality of sizes to further prevent object-to-drywall separation, especially when attempting to anchor large objects and shower rods to the drywall. Anchored tines on the drywall anchor device greatly decrease workloads and problems known in such attempts, as the device is quickly tapped into place with a mallet, hammer, or the like.
