  • Publication number: 20120240501
Abstract: An insulated frame unit for enclosing a wall to provide a highly insulated and airtight wall is provided. The frame unit includes a panel that is formed from a rigid insulated composition such as an expanded foam composition. The panels can be mounted to a wall frame in rows and columns to enclose the wall, and may include outwardly extending flanges that can cooperate with a flange of an adjacent frame unit to provide a stud-receiving opening into which a stud is inserted when mounting the frame units to the frame of the building. The frame unit is mountable to the frame with the interior side of the stud extending from the inner side of the frame unit so that adequate space is provided between the inner side of the frame unit and an interior finish member mounted to the interior side of the studs.

  • Patent number: 6894650
Abstract: An antenna system utilizing a pair of antenna modules each having an antenna and a dielectric frame embracing the antenna. A complementary interengaging structure is provided between the frames of the pair of antenna modules to hold the modules together and to maintain the respective pair of antennas in a predetermined relative orientation. The attachment structure is on exterior walls of the frames, whereby the walls and attachment structure provide a dual function of an isolation barrier between the antennas.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6808414
Abstract: A modular connector includes at least a pair of dielectric housing modules defining at least one conductor-receiving passage therebetween. The passage is split axially whereby a passage portion is disposed in each housing module. The housing modules are plated with conductive shielding material at least in the area of the split passage. A conductor, for example, a coaxial cable section or a differential signal pair, surrounding by a dielectric sheath is disposed in the conductor-receiving passage.

  • Patent number: 6486837
Abstract: An antenna structure and assembly are provided, along with a method of fabricating the same. The antenna structure is formed by molding a plateable plastic antenna element in the desired shape of the antenna structure. The molded antenna element is plated substantially entirely thereabout with a conductive metal material. The antenna assembly includes the molded and plated antenna structure attached to a dielectric base structure adapted for mounting on an appropriate support such as a printed circuit board. A contact spring clip is interengaged between the antenna structure and the circuit board.
