Abstract: A street name sign depicted with a portrait of the honored person or a subject which the street was named after, including a box and a sound reproduction apparatus. The external surface of the box is made of a transparent material, and on its front part is the portrait of the honored person, or the depiction of the subject, relevant to the street name. The street name is displayed below the portrait or the depiction of the subject and the sound reproduction apparatus (7) is installed inside the box optionally with a radio receiver, a storage medium of any desired acoustic message, a loudspeaker (8) and a lighting fixture (5) powered by conventional means or by solar energy through solar cells (6) located on top of the box.
