  • Patent number: 5940945
Abstract: On a sectional warping machine, the dividing-shed formation for introducing a dividing element is controlled in such a way that at least one yarn sensor (18, 18') is introduced transversely to the running direction of the shed warp (11, 12) into the opened dividing shed (15). The yarn sensor generates a control signal on detecting an incorrectly arranged yarn (34) in the feed area. The yarn sensor is preferably introduced into the dividing shed (15) together with a motor-driven element transporter (13), wherein the drive of the element transporter can be switched off and/or reversed by the control signal.

  • Patent number: 5628098
Abstract: A manipulator (16) is provided in the case of a method and device for winding of warp strips (19) in at least two adjacently arranged sections onto the drum (9) of a sectional warping plant. On completion of the winding sequence for a section, the yarns of the warping strip (19) are separated, and not only the strip-start (29) oriented towards the yarn feed arrangement (10, 11) but also the strip-end oriented towards the drum (9) is joined by at least one flat body (18, 18a), transverse to the run of the yarns, and are thus fixed.

  • Patent number: 5531001
Abstract: During sizing division, a rod grid (19) comprising lease rods (7a to 7e) is used for the formation of a shed, the rod grid being able to be raised with the aid of a lifting device (22) from a middle position into an upper operating position (O). A lower operating position (U) is limited by a mechanical stop (21), the individual lease rods being sequentially permitted to fall from the upper operating position into the lower operating position by a locking device. At the same time, a yarn shed is opened for each respective cross cord (12) insertion, the yarn shed lying in the same position for each yarn group. The opening angle .beta. of the yarn shed can, in addition, be altered within specific limits. Automation of cross cord insertion is facilitated by this type of shed formation.

  • Patent number: 5256201
Abstract: A filter unit (12) or a cyclone unit (22) can alternately be attached to a cabin (2) to draw powder out of the cabin. The units move on wheels. In an operating position adjacent to the cabin (2), they are automatically aligned with flow connections and can be connected. A common fan (52) for both units is connected with the filter unit (12) via a compressed air cleaning device (42) in terms of flow, if the former is in the operating position, and at the same time it closes off the inlet to a post-filter unit (32), while when the filter unit (12) is removed and the cyclone unit (22) is in the operating position, this cyclone unit (22) is connected with the fan (52) via the post-filter (32), and the cyclone unit (22) closes off a flow inlet of the compressed air cleaning unit (42). In this way, color changes can be carried out in a short period of time, and good exhaust cleaning is achieved by the filter unit (12) during extended operation with the same color, without a color change.

  • Patent number: 5107574
Abstract: Separate drive motors (30, 35) for the positioning of the warping carriage (25) in the X-, respectively the Y-direction, are provided on a cone section warping machine. In addition to that, separate servo signals for both the servo motors (30, 35) are generated, whereby not only the absolute value of the servo signals but also their relationship to one another is stored and is able to be corrected through correction values. For the correction, a program control device (62) and/or a regulator (67), respectively correction circuits (64, 66), are provided.

  • Patent number: 5022128
Abstract: Individual segments (38, 39) are slid over a divided yarn strip (22) with a dividing device (35) and connected together on both sides (63). By this means separate separating elements (23, 29) are formed.

  • Patent number: 4974301
Abstract: On the warping machine (12) the width (11) of the yarn strip (10) is continuously monitored by means of a line camera (25). The measured strip width is compared in a processor (32) to a stored reference value, with deviations forming a control signal for activating a control motor (35) at the warping reed (9). That ensures continuous strip width regulation, at full winding speed.

  • Patent number: 4819310
Abstract: During warping, the threads removed from the bobbins of a warp creel are supplied by means of a respective adjustable and settable thread brake to a reed located on the warping carriage of the warping machine and from that location the threads are ordered or arranged in a warp section prior to winding onto the warping drum. During operation of the warping machine, all of the thread brakes can be simultaneously adjusted by a central brake adjusting device controlled by control signals of a processor which, prior to the start of warping, stores by means of an input station, the warp section tension to be kept constant during operation, apart from other data. In the processor, the set or reference value of the warp section is constantly compared with actual value signals fed into the processor by a tension measuring device. If there exists a set value-actual value difference, the central brake adjusting device is controlled in the sense of correcting the thread tension by means of the thread brakes.
