  • Patent number: 11372696
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to, among other things, generating reminders based on information from applications. For example, a first message may be received and a confirmation may be identified. Information that identifies an action to be performed and a trigger corresponding to the action can be detected from the first message and/or the confirmation. In some instances, a reminder may be generated based at least in part on the action and the trigger. An even corresponding to the trigger may then be detected, and the generated reminder may be presented based at least in part on the detection of the trigger.

  • Patent number: 10521466
Abstract: Systems and processes for operating a digital assistant are provided. In accordance with one or more examples, a method includes, at a user device with one or more processors and memory, receiving unstructured natural language information from at least one user. The method also includes, in response to receiving the unstructured natural language information, determining whether event information is present in the unstructured natural language information. The method further includes, in accordance with a determination that event information is present within the unstructured natural language information, determining whether an agreement on an event is present in the unstructured natural language information. The method further includes, in accordance with a determination that an agreement on an event is present, determining an event type of the event and providing an event description based on the event type.

  • Publication number: 20190370754
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for determining and presenting extraordinary events on an interface of a client device. A subset of events in a collection of scheduled events stored in a calendar database can be identified that are scheduled to occur within a future time period. A computer device can analyze each event within the subset of scheduled events in order to determine event attributes corresponding to extraordinary event attributes, and for each event, determine a weighted score. The weighted score can be based on the event attributes determined to correspond to extraordinary event attributes to yield scored events. The computing device can determine at least one event from the scored events that both matches a presentation category and has a sufficient score to qualify as an extraordinary event. The computing device can then send the extraordinary event for presentation on a display.
