  • Publication number: 20140352826
Abstract: The invention relates to a directional poppet valve (10), comprising valve pistons (16-22) arranged in a valve housing (12) for controlling a plurality of fluid connections (A, B, P, T), wherein the positions of each of the valve pistons (16-22) in the valve housing (12) can be changed by means of at least one actuating device, and wherein the fluid connections (A, B, P, T) are connected to one another or separated from one another alternately depending on the position of the valve pistons (16-22). The invention is characterised in that the valve pistons (16-22) are arranged inline along at least one axis (R), consecutively and/or at least such as to partially interengage, in the valve housing (12).

  • Patent number: 8840081
Abstract: A piloted proportional throttle valve has a valve piston (29) displaceably guided in the longitudinal direction in a valve housing (13) having a fluid inlet (2) and outlet (1). The front side of the valve piston (27) can be pressurized against a main valve seat (25) by fluid pressure acting on its back side. A pilot valve device has an actuating member (7) displaceable in the longitudinal direction by an electrically actuatable magnet system (4), and works with a pilot valve seat (37) in a bore (17) of the valve piston (29) connecting its back side to the fluid outlet (1) on the front side of the piston. The fluid pressure on the back side of the piston (29) is reduced for an opening motion when the pilot valve seat (33) is released. A flow baffle device (39) is disposed between the back side of the piston and the fluid inlet (2) of the housing (13) to build up the fluid pressure pressurizing the piston (29) against its closed position by introducing pilot fluid.

  • Patent number: 8833729
Abstract: A proportional throttle valve includes a valve piston (2) functioning as a variable orifice and displaceably guided in the longitudinal direction in a valve housing (3) having a fluid inlet (4) and a fluid outlet (5). Since a leading edge (6) of the valve piston (2) is formed by a control piston (7) of a flow regulator (8) for the fluid connection of the fluid inlet (4) and the fluid outlet (5), the flow control valve and the proportional throttle valve are functionally combined in one valve unit.

  • Patent number: 8807519
Abstract: A valve, in particular, a proportional pressure relief valve, includes an electrically controlled solenoid system (10) for the control of an operating part (12, 12a). The operating part cooperates with a valve element (26) extending longitudinally inside a valve housing (24) to release a fluid transport connection path between a fluid inlet (32) and a fluid outlet (34) in its open position and to block the through path in its closed position. An energy store, preferably in the form of a compression spring (58), is arranged between the operating part (12, 12a) and valve element (26) in a free gap between the two and tends to hold the valve element (26) in the direction of its closed position. The operating piece (12a) is embodied as a guide piston having a longitudinal guide for the valve element (26).

  • Patent number: 8662109
Abstract: A proportional pressure control valve includes a valve box (10) having a pump (P), user (A) and reservoir (T) connections. Control piston (18) is guided in a longitudinally displaceably inside the valve box (10) for optionally connecting the pump connection (P) to the user connection (A) and the user connection (A) to the reservoir connection (T). A fluid-carrying connection is established between the pump connection (P) and a pilot chamber (20) of a pilot valve (22). The pilot valve (22) is controlled by a magnet system, especially a proportional magnet system (28). The proportional pressure control valve, for the fluid-carrying connection to the pilot chamber (20), has a bore (27) extending axially inside the wall of the valve box (10) and from a radial bore (9) of the housing (10) forming the pump connection (P).

  • Patent number: 7740224
Abstract: A valve, in particular, a proportional seat valve or gate valve, includes a valve housing (10) and at least three fluid connections (1, 2, 3) extending through the valve housing. A main piston (18) extends in the valve housing (10). A pilot piston (24) for executing a pilot control (26) may be controlled by a current-carrying magnetic device (28). During an open pilot control (26), fluid from one (2) of the connectors (1, 2), controlled by the main piston (18), reaches the connector (3), controlled by the pilot piston (24), by a cross-sectional narrowing (38) in the main piston (19). The pilot control (26) and, as a result of the corresponding pressure drop, the main piston (18) achieves a control position, controlling both fluid connections (1, 2) with regard to fluid amount.
