Patent number: 11858556Abstract: A hood assembly for an agricultural vehicle such as a farm tractor has a first hood panel and a second hood panel pivotably attached to the first hood panel and movable from a first closed position to a second open position relative to the first hood panel. The first hood panel is an elongate body mounted above an engine of the vehicle and having a front end and a rear end joined by two side portions. The second hood panel wraps around the front end of the first hood panel and extends along the two sides thereof to respective pivotal attachments. The attachments have a common pivot axis which traverses the first hood panel in spaced-apart relation to the first hood panel front end. Opening the second hood panel provides maintenance access to a cooling package of the vehicle without opening or disassembling the remainder of the hood assembly.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2021Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: AGCO International GmbHInventors: Markus Bräutigam, Andreas Kleinhenz, Franz Erhard, Thomas Maier, Simon Brack

Patent number: 10717470Abstract: A vehicle chassis arrangement, preferably for use in an agricultural tractor. The chassis has two frame elements and a differential housing, where the ends of the frame elements are connected to the side of the differential housing facing the rear of the vehicle. A tank cover is attached adjacent to that side of the differential housing, to define a fluid storage tank between the tank cover and the surface of the differential housing.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2018Date of Patent: July 21, 2020Assignee: AGCO International GmbHInventors: Markus Braeutigam, Simon Brack

Patent number: 10144277Abstract: A vehicle tank having an upper surface for mounting a fan and radiator to which is sloped between the fan and radiator mounting parts so that there is a difference in the relative height of the parts. The tank also has a horizontal lower surface that abuts the chassis or frame of a vehicle and the space between the upper and lower surfaces holds a fluid.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2017Date of Patent: December 4, 2018Assignee: AGCO International GmbHInventors: Markus Braeutigam, Simon Brack

Publication number: 20060193144Abstract: A side flashing lamp (1) for an external rear view mirror includes a lamp housing (2) with a light exit opening (3) extending from the vehicle side approximately horizontal towards the outside. At least one light guide (6, 7) extends over the light exit opening. The light of a light source (10, 11) is coupled into the vehicle end (8, 9) of the light guide and is propagated in the longitudinal direction. The portion of light arriving at the opposite end (12, 13) is emitted inclinedly rearwardly with respect to the direction of travel.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2005Publication date: August 31, 2006Inventors: Markus Braeutigam, Frank Gotthard, Martina Schwanz, Daniel Matthie, Aliaksandr Makarav

Patent number: 6271750Abstract: A side flashing lamp for fitting into a cover cap of a motor vehicle external rear view mirror includes a lamp housing with a light exit opening and a translucent cover which closes the opening. The translucent cover is curved in such a way that it extends from the outward side, that is remote from the vehicle, in a continuous transition into the front side of the cover cap, which faces approximately in the direction of forward travel of the vehicle. The lamp has at least one light source in the lamp housing and at least one reflector for focusing the light of the light source in a main radiation direction which faces substantially in the direction of forward travel of the vehicle. The lamp includes at least one further light source with a reflector which focuses the light thereof transversely with respect to the main radiation direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2000Date of Patent: August 7, 2001Assignee: Fer Fahrzeugelektrik GmbHInventors: Markus Bräutigam, Rolf Künstler
