  • Publication number: 20240035206
Abstract: A driven ring assembly for a ring-spinning or ring-twisting machine includes a ring and an electric drive having a stator and a rotor with a magnet. A ring crown is on the ring and a ring traveler is on the ring crown. A connecting portion is between the ring and the rotor. The electric drive includes coil winding strands in the stator that generate a torque and radial forces. An axial degree of freedom and tilting degrees of freedom of the rotor are passively stabilized by reluctance forces and radial degrees of freedom of the rotor are actively stabilized by a control loop controlling current through the coil winding strands.

  • Publication number: 20190233981
Abstract: The invention relates to a ring traveler (10) for ring spinning or ring twisting machines having a metallic core, wherein the metallic core is at least partially coated with an anti-friction coating consisting of at least a base polymer and a solid lubricant, whereby the anti-friction coating has a layer thickness of 0.1 ?m to 50 ?m and the base polymer is from the group of polyamides, polyimides, polyamide/imides.

  • Publication number: 20110097528
Abstract: A packaging element formed from a plastic with an inorganic barrier layer with good penetration barrier effect against water vapour and gasses, where the packaging element is fitted with a coating generated in a vacuum with materials with the desired penetration barrier effect. The vacuum coating is over-lacquered to protect against abrasion and corrosion and to improve the mechanical stability.
