Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate the display of data in conjunction with an image. In the context of a method, an image is caused to be presented and input is received via a rotatable dial wheel while the image is presented. The method also includes determining data to be presented based upon the input. In this regard, the method modifies the data to be presented in response so the rotation of the dial wheel. Further, the method causes the data that is determined based on the input to be presented concurrent with the image.

Abstract: A pump arrangement comprising two pump units, each pump unit comprising a pumping cylinder, a reciprocally movable pumping piston, said pumping piston delimiting a pumping chamber in the pumping cylinder in communication with a pump port for fluids, an actuator connected to the pumping piston, and determining a value dependent on the position of the pumping piston in the pumping cylinder, said pump arrangement further comprises a inlet and delivery valves connecting the pump port of each pump unit to a source line and a delivery line for pumped fluids, wherein the pump arrangement comprises at least one regulating unit the flow of the pumped fluids based on the value dependent on the positions of the pumping pistons in the pump units. Abstract: A mobile digital fluoroscopy system comprises either a G-arm (18) stand (1) having two X-ray beam transmitter (21,23)/receiver (22,24) pairs arranged at right angles to each other or a C-arm having a single transmitter/receiver pair. Protective collimator shutter plates (1060) at each transmitter limit the X-ray irradiation area. These collimator plates are properly adjusted via servo motors prior to or during the operation, by fingertip movements, touching collimator representations on a touchscreen for each transmitter/receiver pair, to provide both protection to the surgeon and patient and sufficient fluoroscopic view to the surgeon of the operation site of interest in the body.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are herein provided for causing navigation notifications tailored for a helmet to be presented in the helmet. A determination may be made, such as by a processor, that a helmet is being worn by a user while a navigation event is occurring. A set of navigation notifications associated with the navigation event may be determined, where the set of navigation notifications is tailored for presentation in the helmet, and the set of navigation notifications may be presented in the helmet. Corresponding apparatuses and computer program products are also provided.

In the context of a method, information regarding a subject is received from an interface system carried by a head worn device of the subject, such as a helmet worn by the subject. The information provided by the interface system is utilized for non-medical purposes. The method also determines whether the subject is considered to require medical assistance based upon the information regarding the subject. The method may also include causing notification of a medical response service of the subject in an instance in which the subject is considered to require medical assistance.
