  • Publication number: 20240148504
Abstract: A catheter device for implanting a medical implant such as a prosthetic heart valve has a handle configured to control/steer multiple sheaths of the catheter device. A handle includes a grip portion, a rotatable deployment knob and a traveler. An outer sheath is connected to the traveler and the deployment knob is operatively connected to the traveler such that the traveler and thereby the outer sheath are moved along the longitudinal axis with respect to the inner sheath. The handle includes a rotatable axial positioning knob and a rotatable deflection knob. The deployment knob is arranged proximally to the axial positioning knob.

  • Publication number: 20240041599
Abstract: A catheter device for implanting a medical implant has a handle that includes a locking element configured to be moved from a first to a second state. The locking element limits a movement of a traveler and therewith of a capsule in a distal direction (D) in the first state. The locking element allows further movement of the traveler and therewith of the capsule in the distal direction in the second state.

  • Publication number: 20220203067
Abstract: A flexible elongated tube for a catheter system includes a tubing wall. The wall has a plurality of first indentations spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal axis (L) of the tube and a plurality of second indentations spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal axis (L). An axially aligned pair of indentations has a non-impressed section between the axially aligned pair of indentations. The axially aligned pair of indentations and the non-impressed section form a pull wire space.

  • Patent number: 10007945
Abstract: Techniques for keyword-based searching are described. Some embodiments provide a Merchant Information Search System (“MISS”) that allows a potential customer to search for information about proximately located merchants that provide goods and/or services that match one or more keywords provided by the customer. In some embodiments, multiple keywords are associated with individual goods and/or services provided by a merchant. By associating keywords with individual goods and/or services, rather than a category or type of goods, the MISS may provide fine-grained search results that identify merchants that would not have been otherwise identified by category-based approaches to searching. Some embodiments employ other or additional techniques, including proximity-based searching and keyword feedback to improve search performance.

  • Publication number: 20130283829
Abstract: A method for providing a refrigerant medium having a controlled flow temperature in a secondary cycle (20), wherein the refrigerant medium in the secondary cycle (20) takes up heat from one or more process coolers (22) and then gives off heat to primary water in a primary cycle (10) before it flows back to the process coolers (22), wherein at least two primary heat exchangers (12, 14) are present for cooling the refrigerant medium, in addition a bypass line (26) in the secondary cycle (20) branches off after exit from the process coolers (22) for bypassing the primary heat exchangers (12, 14), and the temperature in the secondary cycle (20) in the flow to the process coolers (22) is controlled via the setting of the bypass stream.
