  • Patent number: 7758093
Abstract: A convertible vehicle has a vehicle body with a passenger compartment, a convertible roof receiving space, and a baggage space defined therein. A convertible roof has a rear part with a rear window. The convertible roof has a closed position wherein it extends over the passenger compartment and an open position wherein the convertible roof is at least partially received in the roof receiving space. A tailgate at least partially covers the baggage space and has an open position and a closed position. The tailgate is movable to the open position to define a loading opening for baggage. The rear window is automatically pivoted upwardly to provide an additional loading opening for baggage when the roof is in the closed position and the tailgate is moved to the open position to provide the loading opening for baggage.

  • Patent number: 7481482
Abstract: A motor vehicle is equipped with at least one aerodynamic spoiler that can be extended by a drive system. The spoiler includes an air deflector panel which is supported by an articulated raising mechanism. The raising mechanism holds the air deflector panel in position and includes a plurality of swivel levers. At least one swivel lever of the plurality of swivel levers has a sectionalized design and is positioned in a middle of the retractable raising mechanism when the air deflector panel is fully extended.

  • Publication number: 20070145776
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle (1) comprising at least one aerodynamic spoiler (3) that can be extended by means of a drive, said spoiler having an air deflector surface (4), which can be supported by a displaceable raising mechanism (9) comprising several pivoting struts (16; 17; 21) that are rotationally fixed to the vehicle body. The invention is characterised in that at least one pivoting strut (21) is sub-divided (22) and lies in a position above dead-centre when the air deflector surface (4) reaches its maximum raised position.

  • Patent number: 6012776
Abstract: A reversible back for a bench seat is disclosed, in particular a back for the rear seat of a vehicle, such that parts of the back can be folded down into a flat transport position and returned to an upright seat position individually and independently of one another. A middle seat-back part (10) is provided, which can selectively be folded down either together with one or both of the laterally adjacent, outer seat-back parts (12, 14) or by itself, independently of the two outer seat-back parts (12, 14), as desired. The middle seat-back part (10) can be locked to each of the two outer parts (12, 14) individually. A central actuating mechanism (20) is provided in the middle seat-back part (10) so that the locking mechanisms (16, 18) on the two sides thereof can be jointly and simultaneously disengaged or engaged.
