  • Patent number: 9890476
Abstract: A spinning unit of an air jet spinning machine with a spinning nozzle, which serves the purpose of producing a yarn from a fiber composite fed to the spinning nozzle. The spinning nozzle features an inlet for the fiber composite, an internal vortex chamber, a yarn formation element protruding into the vortex chamber along with an outlet for the yarn produced inside the vortex chamber. The spinning unit is allocated with an additive supply, which is designed to supply the spinning nozzle with an additive. The additive supply includes at least one top frame fixed on the spinning nozzle, through which the additive is able to be fed to the spinning nozzle. In addition, a top frame for fixing on a spinning nozzle of an air jet spinning machine is proposed.

  • Patent number: 9719192
Abstract: A method and system for operating an air jet spinning machine, that features at least one spinning unit with one spinning nozzle for producing a yarn. During normal operation of the spinning unit, a fiber composite is fed to the spinning nozzle through an inlet and in a predefined transport direction. The fiber composite within a vortex chamber of the spinning nozzle receives a twist with the assistance of a vortex air flow, such that a yarn is formed from the fiber composite, which leaves the spinning nozzle through an outlet. After an interruption in yarn production, a piecing process is carried out, with which one yarn end on the spool side moves counter to the transport direction through the spinning nozzle, is overlaid with one end of the fiber composite after passing through the spinning nozzle and, together with this, is brought through the inlet into the spinning nozzle. After conclusion of the piecing process, the production of yarn is continued through the resumption of normal operation.

  • Patent number: 9353463
Abstract: A spinning point of a spinning machine includes a spinning unit, a drawing-off device for the yarn downstream of the spinning unit and a yarn storage downstream of the drawing-off device for the intermediate storage of a section of yarn. The yarn storage has a sensor system for monitoring the filling level of the yarn storage (7). The spinning point includes a winding device for the yarn downstream of the yarn storage, along with a return unit, with the assistance of which an end of the yarn found within the yarn storage after a yarn break is returned into the area of the spinning point. The winding device (9) is stopped in the case of a yarn break in such a manner that, after the stop, an end section of the yarn remains within the yarn storage (7).

  • Publication number: 20160032498
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating an air spinning machine, whereas the air spinning machine features at least one spinning unit with one spinning nozzle (1) for producing a yarn (2), whereas, during the normal operation of the spinning unit, the spinning nozzle (1) feeds a fiber composite (3) through an inlet (4) and in a predefined transport direction (T), whereas the fiber composite (3) within a vortex chamber (5) of the spinning nozzle (1) receives a twist with the assistance of a vortex air flow, such that a yarn (2) is formed from the fiber composite (3), which ultimately leaves the spinning nozzle (1) through an outlet (6), and is spooled on a sleeve with the assistance of a spooling device (7), whereas, after an interruption in yarn production, a spinning-in process operation is carried out, with which one yarn end (23) on the spool side moves counter to the transport direction (T) through the spinning nozzle (1), is overlaid with one end (24) of the fiber composite (3) after passing thro

Abstract: The invention relates to a spinning unit of an air spinning machine with a spinning nozzle (1), which serves the purpose of producing a yarn (2) from a fiber composite (3) fed to the spinning nozzle (1), whereas the spinning nozzle (1) features an inlet (4) for the fiber composite (3), an internal vortex chamber (5), a yarn formation element (6) protruding into the vortex chamber (5) along with an outlet (7) for the yarn (2) produced inside the vortex chamber (5). In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that the spinning unit is allocated with an additive supply (8), which is designed to supply the spinning nozzle (1) with an additive (9), whereas the additive supply (8) includes at least one top frame (10) fixed on the spinning nozzle (1), through which the additive (9) provided by an additive supply line (14) of the additive supply (8) is able to be fed to the spinning nozzle (1). In addition, a top frame for the fixing of a spinning nozzle (1) of an air spinning machine is proposed.

  • Patent number: 8966873
Abstract: A yarn-producing apparatus for an air spinning machine, which is used for producing a yarn from a fiber strand with the assistance of an air flow, has a spinning tip with an inlet opening surrounded by the outer surface of the spinning tip, in the area of which a yarn is able to be produced with the assistance of the air flow. The yarn-producing apparatus has an internal inset with a draw-off conduit adjacent to the inlet opening for the yarn and several air outlets branching off on the side from the draw-off conduit, such that an air flow introduced counter to the direction of spinning (S) in the draw-off conduit can escape in part through the air outlets and in part through the inlet opening. In addition, a spinning unit with a corresponding yarn-producing apparatus is provided.
