  • Publication number: 20240230598
Abstract: A method and device for detecting and locating a fault of a housing comprising: arranging at least two loudspeakers and at least two microphones therein; for each pairing of loudspeaker and microphone and a housing with no faults: measuring a reference frequency response of the sound transmission from the loudspeaker to the microphone; for each pairing and a housing with faults: measuring a present frequency response of the sound transmission; for each pairing: determining a difference frequency response as the difference between the present frequency response and the reference frequency response; for each possible combination of two pairings: calculating a correlation measure between the difference frequency responses of the pairings; and determining the combination with the highest correlation measure and, if the same loud-speaker or the same microphone appears in the pairings of this combination, then locating the fault as proximate to this loudspeaker or microphone.

  • Publication number: 20240109015
Abstract: A filter element, in particular an air filter element, has a filter media body surrounding a hollow interior and has a first end and an opposite second end. A first end cap is positioned on the first end of the filter media body, and a second end cap is positioned on the second end of the filter media body. The second end cap is a closed end cap. The second end cap has a plurality of spaced-apart inner adapter projections arranged thereon and projecting in direction of a central axis away from the first end cap. At least some of the inner adapter projections are positioned in a circular arrangement so as to surround a center of the second end cap. Such a filter element is arranged in a housing of a filter system provided with a receiver arrangement for the filter element.

  • Patent number: 11488564
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to a display device having at least a first and a second panel, each of which comprises luminous elements arranged in rows and columns and which can be aligned with one another to form a gap running parallel to the columns, at least one connecting element for holding the panels in their aligned position, a measuring device which determines a width of the gap for a row of the first panel, and a driver which controls said luminous element as a function of both the signal and the gap width determined for said row. The disclosed subject matter further relates to a panel and a control method for said display device.

  • Patent number: 6159369
Abstract: Process for the partial modification of porous, hydrophilitic filter membranes, of filter membranes treated in such manner and filter modules equipped with such filter membranes. When hydrophilic filter membranes are embedded in hydrophobic securing components of filter modules, the membrane filters are hydrophobized beyond the embedding area in an edge region, so that this edge region, that can no longer be wetted by water, forms an air by-pass when the filter modules are tested, rendering thus impossible that the filter modules can be tested. The novel process is intended to modify the edge regions in such a manner that, even after partial areas have been embedded in a hydrophobic polymer material, they remain porous and hydrophilic over the whole of their effective area.
