Patent number: 12221345Abstract: Known processes for preparing a porous carbonaceous material require lengthy polymerization and washing steps involving solvents or neutralizing agents. The use of high quantities of pore formers leads to a lower carbon yield and higher costs, and use of sulphuric acid leads to sulphur contamination of the final material, but also to corrosion and corrosive by-products and a more complicated handling of the process. In order allows the manufacturing of a porous carbonaceous material with a high pore volume and avoiding the disadvantages of the known methods, a process is provide that comprise the steps of a) providing at least one carbon source and at least one amphiphilic species, b) combining at least the carbon source and the amphiphilic species to obtain a precursor material, c) heating the precursor material to a temperature in the range between 300° C. and 600° C.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2020Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: HERAEUS BATTERY TECHNOLOGY GMBHInventors: Markus Klose, Stephan Osinga, Julie Michaud-Bernlochner, Dominik Samuelis, Jörg Becker, Thomas Hucke, Benjamin Krüner, Evgeniia Komarova

Patent number: 12181081Abstract: A pipe connecting system for first and second pipe pieces extending along a common longitudinal axis includes a clamp. The pipe pieces each have first end and first clamping surfaces. The clamp has first and second contact surfaces lying against respective clamping surfaces to prevent the clamping surfaces from moving away from one another, while leaving a space between the first and second end surfaces. A retaining ring has a sealing connection attachment to the second pipe piece, and on which a sealing ring is mounted, the sealing ring lying against a circumferential first sealing surface of the first pipe piece. An interior of the first and second pipe pieces between the two pipe pieces is sealed against the surrounding environment by the sealing connection. The two pipe pieces can move towards one another without the first sealing ring moving out of contact with the first sealing surface.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2022Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventor: Markus Klose

Patent number: 12174293Abstract: A low phase noise radar system is disclosed. The system has a signal generator having a stable oscillator that outputs a first lower-frequency signal, a direct digital synthesis circuit that outputs an analog waveform, and a mixer to receive the first lower-frequency signal, and the analog waveform, the mixer to mix the first lower-frequency signal and the analog waveform to generate a signal generator output signal. The system further includes an up converter coupled with the signal generator to filter and to increase frequencies of the signal generator output signal to generate a filtered and frequency multiplied signal to be transmitted.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2022Date of Patent: December 24, 2024Assignee: GM CRUISE HOLDINGS LLCInventors: Benedikt Sanftl, Florian von Detten, Richard Koerber, Felix Hoehne, Markus Klose, Mehmet Serhat Ay, Gustavo Adolfo Guarin Aristizabal

Patent number: 12006217Abstract: Processes for the production of microporous carbon material, for use in electrodes of supercapacitors and secondary batteries, in which particulate metal carbide material is fluidized with a halogen gas at a high temperature in a fluidized bed reactor, the halogen gas is desorbed at a lower temperature of 150° C. to at most 250° C. under vacuum, and then the material is passivated using hydrogen gas and then milled.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: SKELETON TECHNOLOGIES GMBHInventors: Markarian Ohannes Yeghia Ohannes, Markus Klose, Daniel Weingarth, Jaan Leis

Publication number: 20240069158Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to a radar sensor system including a signal generator that generates a clock signal, start of modulation signal, and local oscillator signal. The radar sensor system includes first and second radar chips. The first radar chip synchronizes a first clock engine in frequency based on the clock signal and the first clock engine in time based on the start of the modulation signal. The first radar chip provides a first radar signal based on the local oscillator signal; the first radar signal is synchronized with the first clock engine. The second radar chip synchronizes the second clock engine in frequency based on the clock signal and the second clock engine in time based on the start of modulation signal. The second radar chip provides a second radar signal based on the local oscillator signal; the second radar signal is synchronized with the second clock engine.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Gustavo Adolfo Guarín Aristizabal, Benedikt Sanftl, Felix Hoehne, Richard Johann Körber, Bernhart Pelger-Alzner, Markus Klose, Johannes Grüner
