  • Patent number: 12577158
Abstract: The use of polyol having a functionality of 4 or less and an OH group density of at least 0.033 mol OH per g polyol as a composition for reducing shrinking of construction chemicals on the basis of a hydraulic binder comprising a) alumina cement and/or calcium sulfoaluminate cement, b) calcium sulfate, and c) optionally Portland cement.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 17, 2021
Date of Patent: March 17, 2026
    Assignee: SIKA TECHNOLOGY AG
    Inventors: Markus Knoebel, Nick Schneider
  • Publication number: 20250034046
Abstract: A floor construction including a floor covering and a sealing layer applied to the floor covering, wherein one or more primers are arranged between the substrate and the floor covering and the floor covering is formed of a filling compound which includes an aluminate binder, a calcium sulfate binder, one or more fillers, ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose as thickening agent, comb polymer having sidechains with an ionic group and sidechains with an ether group bonded to a polymer backbone, as plasticizer, and one or more color pigments as coloring agent.

  • Patent number: 10167229
Abstract: A quick-drying gypsum composition, in particular for use as gypsum filling compound and for the production of floor coverings, wherein the gypsum composition contains 20 to 70% of a mixture of calcium aluminate and calcium sulfate hemihydrate and/or anhydrite and/or calcium sulfate dihydrate as hydraulic binders and 30 to 80% by weight of fillers, and wherein the weight ratio of calcium aluminate to calcium sulfate hemihydrate and/or anhydrite and/or calcium sulfate dihydrate binders lies in the range from 1:1 to 1:5. Gypsum compositions of this type are characterized by a particularly beneficial shrinkage behavior, such that stresses and cracks in the dried composition can be avoided. At the same time, the gypsum compositions dry to readiness for covering in a time that is compatible with conventional cement filling compounds.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 30, 2015
Date of Patent: January 1, 2019
    Assignee: SIKA TECHNOLOGY AG
