  • Publication number: 20260016102
Abstract: A torque limiting coupling assembly shields a valve actuator from abnormally high levels of torque. In normal operation, an actuator coupling transfers a driving torque from an actuator coupling to a valve shaft coupling and the valve shaft coupling engenders a shaft torque on a shaft of a valve. In torque actuated operation, when a counter torque applied to the shaft coupling exceeds a threshold value, the actuator coupling freely rotates relative to the valve shaft coupling and the driving torque is transferred to a biasing element of the torque limiting coupling assembly rather than to the valve shaft coupling, thereby shielding the valve or the actuator from high levels of torque.

  • Publication number: 20250027574
Abstract: A retention clip secures a valve shaft adapter collar to a valve actuator. The retention clip includes a central bar having opposing arms extending therefrom. Each arm includes a resilient spring clip junction attached to the central bar, a lug coupled to the resilient spring clip for receiving pliers, and an end extending from the lug and configured for insertion through a hole in the valve shaft adapter collar into a pocket of the valve actuator for retaining the valve shaft adapter collar therein. The pliers can be used to compress and consequently retract the ends into the holes to disassociate the valve shaft adapter collar from the valve actuator and/or insert the valve shaft adapter collar into the valve actuator.

  • Patent number: 11847105
Abstract: The present disclosure comprises systems and methods to mine association rules from a dataset provided in the input. This comprises methodologies for optimizing the dataset for efficient computation of association rules, other than methodologies for handling partially true data. Moreover, it includes methodologies for evaluating the mining process automatically and removing uninteresting rules. In addition, it includes methodologies for integrating experts in the evaluation of the rules. Finally, methodologies to automatically detect outliers, correct outliers, update truth values and complete missing data in the original dataset. The overall methodology is completely automated and provides numerous tuning parameters to fit most of the use cases, including a default value for each of the tuning parameters to simplify its usage.

  • Patent number: 11675790
Abstract: Methods and systems for enriching an information system containing information about companies with additional competitor information. The information system, which could be a database, a knowledge base, or a knowledge graph, is assumed to contain information about a plurality of single companies, the information comprising data such as industry codes, competitors, and possibly also keywords for each company. The disclosed methods determine new competitor pairs by combining (i) the generation of new competitor candidate pairs by inference from existing competitors and other company-specific knowledge with (ii) the validation of such competitor candidates pairs by checking for joint occurrence in documents of a document repository.

  • Patent number: 8607770
Abstract: An ignition device for an internal combustion engine includes an ignition coil which is feedable on its primary side by a voltage supply unit, a secondary current measuring device for measuring the course of the secondary side current, a control device for at least temporary controlling of the primary side voltage or the primary side current in dependence on the measured course of the secondary side current. Subsequent to an interruption of the primary side voltage or current supply of the ignition coil during an ignition process or subsequent to the drop of the primary side voltage or the primary side current in the ignition coil below a predeterminable threshold during the ignition process, the control device energizes or regulates the primary side voltage or current supply of the ignition coil above the predeterminable threshold only when the secondary side current induced thereby acts in the direction of the predetermined course of the secondary side current.

  • Patent number: 7644707
Abstract: An Ignition device for an internal combustion engine including a control device and an ignition coil which is feedable on its primary side by a voltage supply unit. The control device is provided to interrupt or reduce the voltage impressed on the primary side of the ignition coil when a magnitude of a magnetic induction B on the primary side of the ignition coil is greater than a predeterminable maximum value.
