  • Patent number: 12638097
Abstract: A safety device for a linearly actuated process valve and a system including the safety device are disclosed. The safety device includes a housing, a piston rod which is mounted in the housing so as to be linearly displaceable and connectable to the process valve, and a piston which is connected to the piston rod. Furthermore, at least one spring is arranged in the housing of the safety device. The spring is clamped between the piston and an end face of the housing. The safety device also has a first mechanical interface by way of which the safety device can be detachably connected to a linear actuator.

  • Publication number: 20250146595
Abstract: A linear actuator for linear actuation of a process valve which has a housing is disclosed. An electronic control unit, at least one electric drive unit, and at least one hydraulic drive are located in the housing. The hydraulic drive includes at least one hydraulic cylinder with a piston and a piston rod. The piston rod extends outwardly through an opening in the housing. The hydraulic drive is configured to convert an electric drive power of the electric drive unit into a hydraulic driving force which generates a linear movement of the at least one hydraulic cylinder in a first direction. A linear movement of the piston of the hydraulic cylinder in a second direction opposite to the first direction is generated by a restoring force on the piston rod, which restoring force acts on the piston rod outside the housing.

  • Patent number: 12241486
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a transmission unit having (i) a housing for the fluid-tight encapsulation of at least one part of the transmission unit, (ii) a rack and pinion transmission which is arranged in the housing and has at least one gear rack, (iii) a hydraulic drive system, which is arranged in the housing, has at least one displacer unit for increasing the energy of a pressurizable working fluid of the hydraulic drive system, and has at least one chamber in which a piston, operatively connected to a gear rack of the rack and pinion transmission, can be moved using the working fluid in order to effect a linear movement of the gear rack, and (iv) a rotatable mechanical actuator, which is operatively connected to the pinion of the rack and pinion transmission and is arranged outside the housing at least in portions.
