  • Patent number: 11352993
Abstract: A fuel distributor which has a pressure accumulator pipe for receiving pressurized fuel where the pressure accumulator pipe has a forged main body with a longitudinal cavity. At least one connector flange is configured in one piece from the same material on the main body. The connector flange has an injector connector with a connecting duct to the longitudinal cavity. A cup-shaped injector receptacle is joined to the injector connector. The injector receptacle is a single-piece deep-drawn part or a single-piece extruded part or a single-piece turn-milled part, and is connected to the injector connector by way of a fuel-tight join, or by way of brazing technology.

  • Patent number: 10794345
Abstract: A fuel distributor features a pressure accumulator 2 with a longitudinal hollow space 3 to receive pressurized fuel. The pressure accumulator 2 possesses at least one threaded socket 7 which connects with the longitudinal hollow space 3 and which features interior threading 8, and into which a threading cap 11 with exterior threading 13 is inserted. The threading socket 7 features a sealing surface 16, which ends up being pressed onto a sealing seat 18 set up inside the pressure accumulator 2. According to the invention, a leakage channel 27 is formed within the threading cap 11. The configuration of the fuel distributor according to the invention with the leakage channel 27 in the threading socket 7 allows leakage testing under high pressure to be carried out during a short cycle or detection times, and with a high degree of precision.

  • Publication number: 20180038525
Abstract: A connecting arrangement for connecting a pipeline to a connection piece of fuel or hydraulic systems is disclosed having a connecting element in the form of a union nut. A sealing head includes a sealing surface and a pressure surface and is provided at the end side of the pipeline. The union nut serves to press the sealing head by the sealing surface in a pressure-tight manner against a sealing seat formed in the connection piece. Leakage paths are provided at the rear side of the sealing head outside the sealing surface and the sealing seat. The leakage paths function as predetermined leakages and ensure that sealing outside the actual sealing region of the connecting arrangement is prevented.

  • Patent number: 8402946
Abstract: A fuel distributor for supplying fuel to injection valves for internal combustion engines includes a hollow manifold having a plurality of branch bores disposed radially therethrough. A plurality of branch lines are operably connected with a manifold at the branch bores by adapters. The adapters have either a one-piece deep-drawn construction or a one-piece extruded construction, and include a mounting flange that conforms to the outer contour of the manifold and joins the adapter to the exterior of the manifold, and a neck portion that closely receives and securely mounts therein the end portions of the branch lines.
