  • Patent number: 9574962
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydraulic attachment comprising a hydraulic circuit, the attachment being a construction or demolition tool, in particular a hydraulic breaker, demolition shears, scrap shears, a pulverizer, a gripper, a crusher bucket or a compactor, which can be mechanically connected to a support device and hydraulically connected to the hydraulic system of the support device. In order to enable the hydraulic circuit to be opened quickly and safely within an attachment and, in particular, to make it possible to display the presence of a particular pressure level within a hydraulic attachment and to determine whether a dangerous residual pressure is present in the system, a hydraulic attachment is proposed that has a residual pressure display (40) which is connected to the hydraulic circuit of the attachment in a detachable or non-detachable manner.

  • Publication number: 20150068782
Abstract: The invention relates to a percussion device comprising a percussion mechanism housing which has a receiving bore in which a percussion piston is mounted such that it is movable along the longitudinal axis, wherein at least one percussion mechanism guide surface having an inner diameter is formed in the receiving bore and at least one percussion piston guide surface having an outer diameter is formed on the percussion piston. In order to avoid radial contact between the percussion piston and the percussion mechanism housing as far as possible, to reduce the volume of oil leakage through the gap of the guide surface and to prevent wear on the guide surfaces and on the lands between the seals, according to the invention the percussion mechanism guide surface has, at least in some regions, an inner diameter that increases non-linearly in the axial direction and/or the percussion piston guide surface has an outer diameter that decreases non-linearly in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 7779930
Abstract: The invention relates to a striking device (5) comprising a striking mechanism (8) which is driven by a pressure medium. Said device comprises a percussion piston (13) which can be displaced back and forth by means of a control device and a control valve which is embodied as a pressure shut-off valve (19) or as a stop valve, said control valve automatically stopping the striking mechanism if it exceeds a predetermined maximum value based on the working pressure controlling the inlet line, blocking the pressure line (3) or maintaining the control device in one of the and positions thereof. The inventive striking device also comprises a hydraulic catcher buffer which is used to brake the percussion piston when it exceeds a predetermined impact plane. According to the invention, the control valve must remain deactivated at least as long as the percussion piston is displaced on the hydraulic catcher buffer.

  • Patent number: 6648079
Abstract: A protective apparatus for preventing the infiltration of contaminants in a fluid-operated percussion device, having a striking tool (3) that is guided to move in a housing (2) and is driven by a percussion piston in the striking direction (arrow 1), and a seal (7) that is supported at least indirectly on the housing (2), on the one hand, and on the striking tool (3), on the other hand, and has a securing segment that is fixedly disposed with respect to either the housing or the striking tool. The seal (7) is disposed between the inner guide portion (5b) of the striking-tool guide and the theoretical striking plane (4) of the percussive piston on the striking tool (3), when seen in the direction opposite the striking direction (arrow 1), such that the countersurface (3e) for the seal, which countersurface moves relative to the securing segment (7a) of the seal (7) and is in contact with the seal, is unaffected by wear.

  • Publication number: 20030136586
Abstract: An apparatus having a housing (5) that shields a front of a percussion drive (1) against the environment, and into which a drive driven tool (3) projects. An exchangeable outer seal (10) is disposed at the housing opening (6c) for the tool (3), surrounds the tool transversely to its longitudinal axis (3a) with spacing, and is moveable in this transverse direction. An inner seal (11) is disposed behind the outer seal (10), and rests elastically against the tool (3) outside of its tool guide (2). The inner seal (11) is exchangeably secured to an elastic extension (12) of the tool guide (2) that surrounds the percussive tool (3) in the region of the inner seal (11) with a spacing larger than the largest transverse displacement of the tool (3). The extension (12) is an independent, elastic support that forms a detachable connection with the tool guide (2) at one end.
