  • Patent number: 10759576
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a container closure that prevents accidental initial opening of a container. The closure mechanism includes at least one temporary interlocking mechanism having a two part fastener that engages the moveable part of the closure with the fixed part of the closure. The temporary interlocking mechanism is invisible when the container is closed. It is positioned in a location different from the location of the orifice of the closure or from the path that the liquid follows during dispensing. This temporary interlocking mechanism includes at least one element that breaks or irreversibly deforms during the initial opening of the container. The additional force required to break or to irreversibly deform the breakable or irreversibly deformable element of the temporary interlocking mechanism during the first opening mitigates the risk of accidental opening during manufacturing, shipment or storage of the goods.

  • Patent number: 10640270
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward providing container closure structures that include at least one breakable or irreversibly deformable engagement element. Specifically, a closure having at least one engagement element that is breakable or irreversibly deformable upon application of an opening force that is equal to, or higher than, a threshold force value, wherein the closure comprises one or more moveable parts and one or more fixed parts; and wherein the engagement element engages the moveable part and the fixed part of the closure; and wherein the mechanical part inhibits the separation between the moveable and the fixed part of the closure upon application of opening force below the threshold force value; and sealing together the moveable part and the fixed part of the closure at one or more locations; a breakable splint which connects the moveable and fixed parts of the closure created by a two step molding process.

  • Patent number: 8464502
Abstract: A packaging device for packing stacked soft hygienic products, e.g. sanitary napkins, panty liners or the like, into a plastic bag made of an endless film, has specific forming shoulder (21) and MD sealing unit (5) to produce a MD seal (35) at a closure edge (46) of the bag. Thus four integral side panels are available at the bag (WB) for imprinting.

  • Patent number: 8231004
Abstract: Unit load for transporting absorbent hygienic articles such as sanitary pads. The unit load includes a pallet, a bottom tray with one or more side flaps folded upwardly, a plurality of secondary packages loaded on the pallet and forming a stack, a top cap on top of the stack with one or more side flaps folded downwardly, and a plurality of corner posts each placed against a different vertical corner of the stack of secondary packages. A secondary package for transporting feminine hygiene articles, in particular sanitary pads, made of a flexible material is provided.
