  • Publication number: 20120167327
Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting device (10) for a windshield wiper system, comprising an integral housing (12) made of a plastic material, wherein the housing (12) has at least one inflow connection (14, 16) for the inflow of fluid, and at least one outflow connection (19) for the outflow of the fluid, wherein the inflow connection (14, 16) is connected in a fluid-conducting manner to the outflow connection (19) via at least one fluid line (22) formed in the housing (12). The connecting device (10) further comprises at least one valve (28) for separating the fluid-conducting connection, at least one electric heating means (32), which is provided for warming up the fluid line (22) and the valve (28), at least one power source power supply (38), and at least one consumer power supply (40), wherein the power source power supply (38) can be connected to a power source, and the consumer power supply (40) can be connected to an electrical consumer.

  • Patent number: 8186608
Abstract: In an apparatus for wetting a glass pane, in particular a glass pane of a motor vehicle, a spherical body (15) which supports a nozzle body (20) is inserted into an accommodation space (10) which is formed in a bearing head (9) of an insert body (1). The accommodation space (10) exhibits the spherical body (15) together with resistance projections (12) which fix an annular shoulder and also serve to fluidically stabilize a liquid fluid, which flows into a flow expansion space as a subregion of the accommodation space (10), in the form of, for example, wash water. An oscillating fan-like stream can be reliably generated as a result.

  • Publication number: 20100224707
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for subjecting an object to the action of a liquid, for example, a window pane of a motor vehicle with a cleaning liquid, with a retaining body (1), which can be connected to a liquid line arrangement, and with a nozzle body (12). The nozzle body (12) is provided with a cylindrical design and can be inserted into a location space (8) of the retaining body (1) whereby being rotationally mounted therein. Rotating the nozzle body (12) about the cylinder axis permits a liquid jet or liquid fan to be adjusted with regard to its outlet angle, this liquid jet or fan exiting via an outlet end (18), which is formed in the nozzle body (12), and via an outlet recess (7) formed inside the retaining body (1). A long serviceable life is achieved due to this cylindrical design.

  • Publication number: 20080283628
Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly of a window washing system, especially for a windshield (2), of a vehicle, comprising two closely adjacent spray nozzles (4) that are in particular provided in a common spray nozzle module and are individually adjustable in terms of their spraying direction, is designed to permit optimal window cleaning with the least possible impairment of visibility during the operation of the window washing system, while affording a streamlined design for the window washing system, that is, one in which the window (2) is cluttered with as few individual elements as possible.
