  • Patent number: 10171071
Abstract: A device (442) for producing a dynamic reference signal (UREF) for a control circuit for a power semiconductor switch comprises a reference signal generator (442) for providing a dynamic reference signal (UREF), which has a stationary signal level after elapse of a predefined time following a switching process of the power semiconductor switch, a passive charging circuit (450) which is configured to increase a signal level of the dynamic reference signal in reaction to a switching of a control signal of the power semiconductor switch from an OFF state to ON state for at least one part of the predefined time above the stationary signal level, in order to produce the dynamic reference signal and an output (A) for tapping the dynamic reference signal (UREF).

  • Patent number: 9773608
Abstract: A transformer includes a transformer core, a first wire, which forms a first winding, and a second wire, which forms a second winding. The first and second windings are wound around the transformer core. A preformed insulation structure is arranged between the first and second winding and designed to space apart the second winding from the first winding and the transformer core. The preformed insulation structure further includes a first shell which at least partially encloses the transformer core with the first winding, and a second shell which at least partially encloses the transformer core with the first winding. The first and second shells are identical. One or more holes are defined in the first shell and the second shell. The one or more holes cover more than 10% of a surface of the preformed insulation structure.

  • Patent number: 9366717
Abstract: A device for detecting a change in voltage across a switch includes a resistive-capacitive network and a timer circuit. The resistive-capacitive network includes an impedance, a first resistive element, and a first capacitive element to provide a signal representative of a voltage across the switch. The timer circuit generates a detection signal that is representative of the change in the voltage across the switch after switching on of the switch. The timer circuit raises a level of the detection signal if the voltage across the switch does not fall below a predetermined value after switching on of the switch. The resistive-capacitive network is configured such that parasitic capacitances of the device are compensated or over compensated so as to prevent the timer circuit from raising the level of the detection signal if the voltage across the switch does fall below the predetermined value after switching on of the switch.

  • Patent number: 8817101
Abstract: A mobile monitoring device including a first sensor for measuring the speed of vehicles passing through a first detection range with a first time stamp; a second sensor for measuring the geometry of vehicles passing through a second detection range with a second time stamp; a camera for recording images of vehicles passing through a third detection range with a third time stamp; and an evaluation device, which calculates from the speed measurement value, first time stamp and first detection range, and from the geometry measurement value, second time stamp and second detection range, the place and time in or at which a passage of the vehicle is to be expected in the third detection range, to determine the matching image on the basis of the third time stamp and third detection range therefrom. The invention additionally relates to such a monitoring method.
