Abstract: Disclosed are transfer systems and methods for transferring products to transport means which accommodate a specific amount of products. The transfer system includes at least one moving product supply device, at least one transport device, and at least one transfer device for transferring the products from the product supply device to the transport means in a transfer area, where the transport device has at least a first section along which the products are transported by the transport means in a conveying direction of the product supply device and at least one second section along which the products are transported by the transport means in the opposite direction to the conveying direction of the product supply device.
