  • Patent number: 10957356
Abstract: A data storage tape cartridge includes a housing having a reel within and rotatably supported by the housing. Two or more data storage tapes are wound up on the same rotary axis of the reel. Each subsequent winding of a first one of the tapes is separated from the previous winding of the first tape by at least another one of the other tapes. A leader pin is attached to a free end of each of the tapes. The leader pins may be connected to one another. The leader pins may be disconnected from one another as part of process for mounting the cartridge in a tape drive.

  • Publication number: 20080203684
Abstract: The invention relates to a road-building machine whose left front wheel (4) or caterpillar, right front wheel (6) or caterpillar, left rear wheel (8) or caterpillar and right rear wheel (10) or caterpillar are connected to the road-building machine chassis by means of an actuating element and are height-adjustable with respect to the road-building machine frame. According to said invention, different actuating elements are rigidly connected to the road-building machine chassis and forcedly coupled to each other in such a way that the left front wheel (4) or caterpillar and the right rear wheel (10) or caterpillar are height-adjustable in the same direction and with respect to the right front wheel (6) or caterpillar and the left rear wheel (8) or caterpillar are adjustable in the opposite directions. The all wheels (4, 6, 8, 10) or caterpillars are equally height-adjustable.

  • Patent number: 5906865
Abstract: Non-uniform liquid flows in the curtain limit the process speed and cause defects during coating. These liquid streams are equalized by auxiliary liquids in the curtain holder. If the curtain edge is separated by a free jet of a separating liquid, turbulence in the curtain edge is isolated from the curtain center. The maximum attainable speed is increased. Because the free jet also removes liquid from the curtain in the penetration area, a beaded edge is not generated on the base, and it is possible to coat uniformly thick to the outer edge of the base. The process is especially suitable for making photographic films.
