  • Publication number: 20050176875
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing an aqueous polymer dispersion, according to which unsaturated monomers are first polymerized by means of suitable catalysts, whereupon the obtained polymers that are swelled with all or some of the remaining unreacted monomers are added to surface-active substances and water in a last step in which the obtained polymers are not entirely separated from the remaining monomers.

  • Publication number: 20050133287
Abstract: An air inlet conduit for a cooler of a vehicle has an air conduction scoop inserted into an opening of a vehicle body skin part on its air inlet side. The air inlet conduit is supported by way of a surrounding collar section on an exterior side of the vehicle body skin part, a scoop section extending away from an outer collar section of the air conduction scoop, which scoop section projects into a hollow space of the vehicle body skin part situated behind the latter. The air conduction scoop is connected to an adjoining closed flow-through conduit. So that, during the mounting of the air conduction scoop and/or of the flow-through conduit without any gauge and independently of worker skills, a constant gap is always ensured between the air conduction scoop and the adjoining vehicle body skin part, several trim lugs, which are arranged in pairs on the edge of the opening and project into the opening, are provided.

  • Publication number: 20050067204
Abstract: An aerodynamically constructed covering part for the underside of a motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car, is provided with an inflow opening and an air guiding element arranged adjacent to the inflow opening. In the driving operation, a partial flow of the cooling air flowing through between the covering part and the roadway is guided through the inflow opening and the air guiding element situated at least in areas above the covering part to an assembly and/or a chassis part situated above. In order to simplify the fastening between the covering part and the air guiding element, it is provided that the air guiding element is inserted into a receiving opening of the covering part and is separably connected with the covering part by way of slide-detent connections.

  • Publication number: 20030121390
Abstract: A machine for cutting plate-shaped workpieces, incorporates a tool guide (7), an operating handle (13), and a cutting tool (6) which revolves along the tool guide (7). By moving the operating handle (13), the tool guide (7) with its cutting tool (6) can be shifted from an idle position into an active position. In its idle position the cutting tool (6) is disengaged from, and, in its active position it is engaged in, the workpiece to be processed. Provided between the operating handle (13) and the tool guide (7) is a gearing mechanism (14, 18) with a transmission ratio which varies with the movement of the operating handle (13) as a function of the position of the tool guide (7) and its cutting tool (6) relative to the workpiece.
