  • Patent number: 11822646
Abstract: A method, with the aid of which an installation-wide security consideration may be carried out, that is not limited only to automation components of a single manufacturer, but that functions across all manufacturers, is provided. Through suitable user guidance and automated support in process-conforming execution of assessments, incident handling and the definition of security measures as well as corresponding tracking, the method has a high level of user-friendliness. A rule generator uses security criteria in order to develop user-specific analysis rules from a complex rulebook with a number of input values. All the installation-relevant data is automatically compiled in an inventory. The machine security auditor applies the user-specific rulebook to the collected installation data from the asset inventory, and from that, prepares the audit trail.

  • Patent number: 8856880
Abstract: Method for providing a subscription to an IP-based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) for a first client of a packet-switched network is provided. The first client is identified by the same MSISDN number as a second, mobile client of a circuit-switched network. The method comprises the following steps: a) sending, by the first client, a register request to an IMS Server via the packet-switched network, b) sending, by the IMS server, a location query request to a register for the IMS user identities (HSS), c) requesting, by the register for the IMS user identities (HSS), the user subscription information of the circuit-switched network from the register for the circuit-switched network (HLR), d) sending, by the register for the circuit-switched network (HLR), to the register for the IMS user identities, the user subscription information of the second client, e) creating, by the register for the IMS user identities (HSS), a user IMS subscription information based on user subscription information of the second client.

  • Patent number: 8805361
Abstract: A method for self-provisioning of subscriber data allows efficient registration of a subscriber for an Internet-Protocol Multimedia Subsystem of a telecommunication network at the subscriber database of the Internet-Protocol Multimedia Subsystem. A subscription entry is created in the subscriber database of the Internet-Protocol Multimedia Subsystem of a telecommunication network, based on prior secure identification of the subscriber by the access network that grants access to the Internet-Protocol Multimedia Subsystem.
