  • Patent number: 6737390
Abstract: Laundry detergent or cleaning product shaped bodies which comprise two or more noncompressed parts.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 5, 2001
Date of Patent: May 18, 2004

  • Publication number: 20040053808
Abstract: The invention relates to washing or cleaning agent shaped bodies that are mechanically stable, have an excellent rate of dissolution and a completely novel appearance. The novel washing or cleaning agent shaped bodies comprise solid(s) and gas(es) and optionally other washing or cleaning agent components. The shaped body consists of gas-filled cells (pores) that are defined by solid dividing walls. Preferred washing or cleaning agent shaped bodies in the form of solid foams have a content of 40 to 90% by weight of one or more water-soluble polymers, 10 to 60% by weight of one or more substances from the group of builders, acidifying agents, chelate complexing agents, plaque-inhibiting polymers or non-ionic tensides as well as 0 to 50% by weight of one or more adjuvants and/or fillers.

  • Publication number: 20040029764
Abstract: Detergent portions containing at least one detersive formulation wholly or partly contained in a dimensionally stable hollow body having an enclosure that wholly or partly surrounds the detersive formulation, the enclosure being formed of an uncompressed material that can disintegrate under laundering, cleaning, or washing conditions and that gives the hollow body dimensional stability, and optionally, the dimensionally stable hollow body having one or more means forming one or more compartments therein.

  • Patent number: 6683042
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel granulation method, wherein a surface active foam obtained by foaming a flowable component that contains a surface active agent with a gaseous medium is used as granulation adjuvant. The surface active foam has an average pore size of less than 10 mm.

  • Patent number: 6251848
Abstract: Bull's-eye tablets in which both the shaped body per se and the lands surrounding the bull's-eye are mechanically stable and even lend themselves to production in modern high-throughput tablet presses and in which the core placed in the larger shaped body is joined to the tablet in a stable manner and does not separate from the tablet matrix during production, packaging, transportation and handling can be obtained if the contour line of the core falls from the edge zone to the lowest point and climbs back to the edge zone.
