    Abstract: A hand-actuatable plier tool for processing cables has a plier head for handling or processing a workpiece such as a cable, two plier handles that can be pivoted relative to one another between an open position and a closed position, an electronic monitoring unit detachably arranged on a first of the plier handles and with which at least the number of handling or processing procedures can be counted and stored. The monitoring unit has an electronic circuit and a signal transmitter emitting actuation signals to the electronic circuit when the plier tool is actuated. The signal transmitter has an energy harvesting module for supplying energy to the monitoring unit and an actuation mechanism activating the signal transmitter.

    Abstract: A printer is provided for printing marking strips having a plurality of marking elements for marking electric devices which can be arranged next to one another. Each of the marking elements has a marking plate with at least one writing field which can be printed with information such as writing. The printer has a rotatably mounted feed shaft which can be driven by a motor and a printing head. The rotatably mounted feed shaft has at least one section which is provided with protrusions and which rests directly against the marking strip while the feed shaft is rotated such that the advancing speed of the marking strip is synchronized with the circumferential speed of the feed shaft.

The marking strip is formed of at least two different plastic materials of different hardness. The locking contour of each marking element is formed of a harder plastic material, and the marking plate is formed of a softer plastic material at least in the region of the writing field. The connecting region between the marking elements is formed of the softer plastic material.

Each terminal connection includes a recess which extends in a direction of extension of the electrical conductor and a holding device to at least partially close the recess. The holding device is adjustable relative to the direction of extension of the electrical conductor from an open position in which the electrical conductor can be inserted into the recess to a closed position in which the holding device holds the electrical conductor in the recess. The holding device is either reversibly rotatable in a direction of rotation around an axis which extends in the direction of extension or reversibly displaceable in a sliding direction which extends transverse to the direction of extension.

Each support member is guided during this displacement by a guide arrangement including at least one guide lever having a first end pivotally connected with the housing, and a second end connected with a guide follower roller that is in engagement with a guide cam surface carried by the support member. The generation of noise is avoided as a consequence of the accurate guidance of the components.
