  • Publication number: 20260254331
Abstract: A method for positioning an electric motor rotor shaft includes determining the initial position of the rotor shaft from rotational angle positions of the rotor shaft in which the rotor shaft (RW) can be locked or unlocked by a form-fitting element of a locking actuator. To determine an initial position, the rotor shaft is divided into sections over the circumference of the rotor shaft such that one form-fitting element section is paired with each of the sections, the form-fitting element section joinable to a complementarily shaped form-fitting element section of the locking actuator. The rotor shaft is positioned in one of the rotational angle positions, the absolute rotational angle position of the rotor shaft detected by a rotor position sensor, and locking or unlocking the rotor shaft in the rotational angle position in that the form-fitting element is moved into or out of the rotor shaft in a stroke movement.

  • Publication number: 20260243344
Abstract: A method for teaching at least one locking position of a locking actuator relative to an element, which is to be locked and is able to be driven by way of electric motor, of a drivetrain of a vehicle. The locked element is pivoted clockwise until the locking element comes to a first stop against the locked element, and then counterclockwise until the locking element comes to a second stop against the locked element. First electromotive angle information concerning the recess, corresponding to the first stop, and second electromotive angle information concerning the recess, corresponding to the second stop, is recorded and electromotive angle information, corresponding to a central position of the recess, is ascertained from these two items of angle information.

  • Patent number: 7905219
Abstract: An apparatus and a method that prevent sticking of a valve pin in a valve seat of an injector at low temperatures can be provided providing an engine control unit and an additional control device, wherein the engine control unit activates the additional control device, and activate the injector by the additional control device in such a way that the injector by moving its valve pin is heated and/or rendered viable.
