  • Patent number: 11414290
Abstract: According to several embodiments, the invention relates to a device and a method for stacking card-like data carriers. The device includes a conveying device for transporting individual card-like data carriers downstream along a conveying path and a stacking unit for selectively transferring and stacking card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying path. The conveying device is arranged to convey the card-like data carriers in such a way that they are fixed to it in a hanging mode of transport. The stacking unit is arranged to selectively release certain ones of the card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying device from the latter in order to transfer them directly into a card magazine and to stack them therein.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for stacking card-like data carriers. The device comprises (i) a conveying device for transporting individual card-like data carriers downstream along a conveying path and (ii) a stacking unit for selectively transferring and stacking card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying path. The conveying device is arranged to convey the card-like data carriers in such a way that they are fixed to it in a hanging mode of transport. The stacking unit is arranged to selectively release certain ones of the card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying device from the latter in order to transfer them directly—i. e. in particular without intermediate processing, intermediate transport or intermediate storage—into a card magazine and to stack them therein when the card magazine is arranged in a stacking area at a stacking position which, in relation to the direction of gravity, is situated below the conveying path.

  • Publication number: 20200397612
Abstract: A device for altering an optical and/or mechanical property of a lens that is implanted in an eye, the device including a laser device, which has a laser beam source that provides a pulsed laser beam and an optical unit, which impinges on the implanted lens with the pulsed laser beam. The device also includes a control device, which controls the laser device such that the optical and/or mechanical property of the lens is altered on the basis of non-linear interaction between the laser beam and the lens material.

  • Patent number: 9872617
Abstract: A fundus camera with an OCT measurement module, in which, after the focusing objective, a mirror switches the light to be detected either to the OCT measurement module or an image detector. This design also renders it possible to carry out a method for improved focusing in order to improve the recording quality of the individual modalities. Furthermore, the multimodal measuring instrument distinguishes itself by an operating concept according to the invention. Such combination instruments are advantageous in that, as a result of the reduction from two instruments to one, less space is required than in the case of two separate instruments. Furthermore, reseating of the patient is avoided if recordings or measurements of different modalities should be made for one and the same patient, as a result of which the procedures in the medical practices and clinics can be influenced positively.

  • Publication number: 20170367878
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for measuring an optical penetration that is triggered in a tissue underneath the tissue surface by means of therapeutic laser radiation which a laser-surgical device concentrates in a treatment focus located in said tissue. The inventive device is provided with a detection beam path comprising a lens system which couples radiation emanating from the tissue underneath the tissue surface into the detection beam path. A detector device generating a detection signal which indicates the spatial dimension and/or position of the optical penetration in the tissue is arranged downstream of the detection beam path.

  • Publication number: 20070247691
Abstract: Among other things, a variable diaphragm is described for a lighting device and/or for an observation device inside an optical observation apparatus for imaging an object and/or an intermediate image produced by an object, particularly for a stereoscopic observation apparatus, wherein the variable diaphragm is provided for at least one beam path of the lighting device and/or for a beam path of the observation device. According to the invention, the variable diaphragm can be controlled in order to produce a specific lighting geometry by regions. In addition, the variable diaphragm is formed for the utilization of all directions of polarization of the light of a light source. Further, a lighting device, an optical observation device, as well as an optical observation apparatus are also described.
