  • Patent number: 11408810
Abstract: A test device for determining the particle load of pressurized hydrogen includes a housing (2), with an inlet (4) and an outlet (8) for the inflow or outflow of hydrogen, respectively. A sampling chamber (52) has a filter holder (44) for a test filter (58). A sample amount of hydrogen can flow through the test filter during a test procedure. After the test procedure has been completed, the test filter can be removed from the sampling chamber (52) for evaluating the deposition of particles. A venting device (64, 70) for reducing the pressure in the sampling chamber (52) is arranged inside the housing (2) and discharges any remaining hydrogen, at least partially, in the direction of the inlet (4) of the test device after the hydrogen has stopped flowing from the testing device.

Abstract: 1. Test device for determining the particle load of high-pressure hydrogen. 2. A test device for determining the particle load of pressurized hydrogen, comprising a housing (2), which has an inlet (4) and an outlet (8) for the inflow or outflow of hydrogen, respectively, and a sampling chamber (52), in which a filter holder (44) for a test filter (58) is provided, through which a sample amount of hydrogen can flow during a test procedure and which, after the test procedure has been completed, can be removed from the sampling chamber (52) for evaluating of the deposition of particles, and having a venting device (64, 70) for reducing the pressure in the sampling chamber (52), is characterized in that the venting device (64, 70) is arranged inside the housing (2) and discharges any remaining hydrogen, at least partially, in the direction of the inlet (4) of the test device after the hydrogen has stopped flowing from the testing device.

  • Patent number: 9939070
Abstract: A ball valve (1) has a blocking element (3) movably guided in a fluid passage of a valve housing (2) and movable by an actuating device (4) from a pass-through position connecting at least two connecting points (5) to one another in the valve housing (2) into a blocking position interrupting this connection, and vice versa. A sealing device has at least one sealing ring which, together with its central opening, comprises the fluid passage (6) and seals the fluid passage along at least one sealing gap. The ring profile of the sealing ring has a ring opening that interrupts this profile such that the sealing ring changes from an initial shape to an installation and different shape that seals the sealing gap with a predefinable pretension having an increased sealing force effect.

Abstract: A valve device, in particular, in the form of a ball valve (1), having a blocking element (3) movably guided in a valve housing (2), which may be brought via a fluid passage (6) by means of an actuating device (4) from a pass-through position connecting at least two connecting points (5) to one another in the valve housing (2) into a blocking position, which interrupts this connection, and vice versa, and having a sealing device having at least one sealing ring which, together with its central opening, comprises the fluid passage (6) and which seals it along at least one sealing gap, is characterized in that the ring profile of at least one sealing ring of the sealing device has a ring opening that interrupts this profile in such a way that the sealing ring changes from an initial shape to an installation shape differing therefrom, in which it seals the sealing gap that can be assigned thereto with a predefinable pretension having an increased sealing force effect.

  • Patent number: 8511640
Abstract: A ball valve has a valve housing (2) receiving ball spindle (6) pivoted around an axis in the housing (2). A ball body (12) as a blocking element is between the input part and the output part of a media passage (4) of the housing. The flow opening (14) located in the ball body (12) is alignable with the passage (4) for unblocking the ball valve by turning the ball spindle (12). The ball body (12) is supported on two identical end sections (8, 10) connected to and axially spaced from the ball body (12). The support on at least one end section (8, 10) is a support cover (26) having integrated slide bearing elements (34, 36) detachably mounted on the housing (2).
