  • Publication number: 20250189164
Abstract: A fire-rated ventilation duct structure penetration arrangement includes a ventilation duct and a building structure, such as a wall, ceiling or floor, through which the ventilation duct extends. The ventilation duct has one or more metal sheets forming the duct. The metal sheet duct is covered on the outside by a fire protection material, and the duct includes elongated stiffening members located on the outside of the duct and attached to the metal sheets. The stiffening members are arranged substantially within the opening of the building structure.

  • Patent number: 12247689
Abstract: A ventilation duct for a fire rated ventilation duct wall penetration has one or more metal sheets forming said duct, wherein said metal sheet duct is covered on the outside by a heat insulating material, and said duct includes elongated stiffening members located on the outside of the duct and attached to said metal sheets. The stiffening members each comprises a metal profile and at least one non-combustible bar of inorganic material. The metal profile is fixed to the metal sheet of the duct and retains the non-combustible bar by at least partly encircling the bar.

  • Publication number: 20230005630
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for operating a system in which dismantling works are performed underwater in a liquid-filled vessel (10) of a nuclear facility, the liquid being guided in a circuit (20) and flowing through at least one filter device (26, 28, 30). The liquid in the circuit flows through at least a first filter device (26) in the form of a coarse filter and a second filter device (28), in which at least one device from the group of ion exchangers (1, 2, 3), reverse osmosis systems, ultrafiltration systems, activated carbon filters, zeolite filters, and biological filters is used for filtration.

  • Patent number: 11351407
Abstract: The invention relates to an optimized foam former (1) for foaming a foam-water concentrate, which foam former consists of a curved grate having diamond-shaped openings (13) and sharp edges (12). The structure of the foam former increases the foam formation and ensures uniform distribution of the foam over a large area. Existing water sprinklers having a nozzle (3) and a spray disk (2) can be provided with the foam former (1) and thus converted into foam sprinklers in a simple manner. The foam former (1) is arranged in such a way that the foam former (1) protrudes beyond the spray disk (2) toward the nozzle (3).

  • Patent number: 5405564
Abstract: The invention refers to a process of forming shaped articles from starch, which process comprises:(a) heating a composition comprising a pre-processed and essentially destructurized starch/water material, at a water content in the range of from 10 to 20% by weight based on the weight of the composition to a temperature sufficient to essentially destructure the starch.(b) transferring the melt to a mold while maintaining said water content and(c) cooling the melt in the mold to a temperature below its glass transition temperature to form a solid shaped articleand articles made by this process.
