  • Patent number: 8800731
Abstract: A centrifugal pendulum in a torsional vibration damper of a drive train of a motor vehicle with a pendulum flange rotating about a rotation axis and several pendulum masses distributed over the circumference, disposed on the latter in a manner capable of swinging. When the internal combustion engine of the drive train induces massive rotational irregularities resulting from high vibration angles in these arrangements, the pendulum masses can be deflected more strongly relative to the pendulum flange and strike the provided swing motion limits. To prevent hard hits of the pendulum masses on the pendulum flanges, it is proposed to dampen the impact areas by hydraulic means and hence to achieve a soft impact.

  • Publication number: 20140173488
Abstract: Certain example embodiments described herein relate to defining relevant data for analysis and reporting for modeled processes and process-related data. In certain example embodiments, a normal (and potentially-non-expert) user can define a model, object, or a relation as “source” and “target” of interest. The user also may be able to make a question more concrete, e.g., by specifying stopovers, a number of steps that might be between the source and the target, etc. A net of different paths from the source to the target may be retrieved as result, representing all possible relations, including those that are implicit. Such information also can be selectively excluded from the net, e.g., if the user does not want to evaluate same. However, the user can be reasonably sure that all relevant data for analysis has been returned, even though the definition was made without consulting an expert.

  • Patent number: 8727731
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a blade connection of a rotor blade for a wind energy system which comprises fastening elements for fastening the blade connection to a hub, which fastening elements are provided on a circular arc, preferably equidistant from each other. Furthermore, the invention relates to a blade connection and a fastening element for a blade connection. The invention is based on the problem of improving the fastening of a rotor blade on the hub of a wind energy system as well as improving the manufacture and/or making a suitable blade connection available. The invention solves this problem as regards the process in that fastening elements formed in pieces are arranged on the circular arc and spaced from each other with spacer elements.
