  • Patent number: 9875868
Abstract: The device is used for locking an access for actuating two switching devices of high-voltage switchgear with the aid of a drive shaft transmitting drive force onto the two switching devices. In order to increase the operational safety of the high-voltage switchgear with little outlay, the locking device comprises a closing disk which is fastened on the drive shaft, a rocker bar arrangement containing at least four rocker bars, and a slider. The slider can be moved, on-site, into two positions, the first of which releases an access for the actuation on-site and blocks an access for the actuation from a remote location, and the second of which blocks the access for the on-site actuation and releases the access for the remote actuation.

  • Patent number: 5564275
Abstract: A method and apparatus for high-pressure end exhaust gas recirculation on a supercharged internal combustion engine which is relatively simple, low in cost and increases the efficiency of the engine. This is achieved by a third exhaust gas flow of the internal combustion engine expanding separately from a first exhaust gas flow and by providing power to compress a second exhaust gas flow. For this purpose, a turbine is arranged as the drive for the exhaust gas compressor. The exhaust gas duct system has a third exhaust gas duct connected to the turbine.

  • Patent number: 5499693
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for lubricating the bearings of a turbocharger, the coarsely filtered oil flow (2) for the turbocharger (7) is first of all passed through one of two fine filters (12, 15) connected alternately and in the process is filtered to the consistency required by the turbocharger (7). A portion of the finely filtered oil flow (20) is fed as lubricating oil (21) into the bearings (22) of the turbocharger (7), and the other portion is fed as flushing oil (23) into the clean side (14) of the second fine filter (15). Both the lubricating oil (21) and the flushing oil (23) are then drained off into the oil sump (1). If the first fine filter (12) is contaminated, the second fine filter (15) flushed beforehand by means of the finely filtered oil flow (20) is switched to the oil line (10) of the turbocharger (7) and thus takes over the cleaning function of the first fine filter (12). The clogged first fine filter (12) is then cleaned with the flushing oil (23).
