    Abstract: The invention relates to a plug-in connection, comprising: an electrical connector having an electrical connector housing (1); and a mating electrical connector (17), which can be plugged together with the electrical connector. The electrical connector has a superstructure (4), and the superstructure (4) receives a locking element (8) in a pre-latching position and in a final latching position. The electrical connector has first detent elements and the locking element (8) has first detent elements corresponding thereto. The mating electrical connector (17) has additional detent elements and the locking element (8) has additional detent elements corresponding thereto.
